Is everything about the Auto and Auto Patch these days?

I'm bored already.

Sometimes Panini, less is more.

These look ok. But a CP3 will sell for what, $30-$40.

I would laugh so hard if Panini got to caught up in their own *** **** that they released hoops or something from the new draft and then released more stuff from the past yea. Would you honestly be surprised.

I love how their mockups have clear autos in gold but we all know it is going to look faded as hell

The spotlight signatures if they do use gold ink is gonna be sexy as hell. The china patches are cool too.

I like the looks of these, had UD made these everybody would scream its amazing.

Noir means Black, so this virtually paninis version of UD Black.

So there are 2 variations for no reason other than Panini wanted to double the print run to water down the set and create more cases/product quantity.

Yet again, another lame idea by Panini. Why not just have the color set and have something actually nice and somewhat rare for once?

Nope! They need to increase case production so they can sell more. Who cares about the "after-the-fact" secondary market values! I get it, they're a business, and they don't. But this crap is just so bad for the hobby.

The black&white variations suck. They'll sell low and drag down the values of the color set.

I'm also sure that's not all we'll see when it comes to artificially implied scarcity due to variations/parallels.


The actual designs don't look half bad. But, they're mockups. Who knows what they'll actually come out looking like.

This should also water down the RPAs this year to basically be worthless. I mean, look what Excalibur has done to an Andrew Wiggins Auto Patch Rookie?!



On a positive note, the China patches and the gold ink autos are dope. They look awesome.

However, those points are definitely not even CLOSE when it comes to balancing out all the bad ... especially the likeliness of a ridiculously high cost!

I really like this set but I am a sucker for ud black.
There are a few cards I would like to own and I may get into a gb but 400$ for how many cards?
I cant wait to see it in person and if they use Panini points cards at all they can go #@#@#@#@ themselves.

Happens all the time in hockey. Sometimes in football, too.
