I apologize if this has been brought up before... but I was just was looking at POP report on Beckett. I found a few things that were interesting about the Kyle Schwarber Red Refractor autographs.
1. All 5 apparently have been found even though there is a TON of unopened wax still out there.
2. 6 show up on the POP report. I assume someone broke free a 9.0 (this seems risky to me) and was successful in their 9.5 venture. I would have to know that they will change the grade beyond a shadow of a doubt to go through with something like this.
3. All of them are presumed to be 9.5s at this point. I cant remember ever hearing of something like this before, although I'm sure a few of you could enlighten me.
Does anyone know anything about this? I'm just curious at this point.

All moderns should grade a 9.5 off the sheets if there are no mistakes in packaging etc.
Unless your post was about POP reoorts

Every card should be centered, free of dimples, no printing defects etc right?

This was more about the fact that 6 were graded instead of 5 for a card that has a print-run of 5. I found it odd. As mush as I agree with you guys on the every modern card should be a 9.5 thing, its not always the case in my experience.
So my biggest question here... Did Beckett make a grading mistake and then another BGS employee confirm the mistake and agree to a higher grade? It just seems fishy that is all.

It's 2015 and card companies still have issues cutting cards. It's sad.

If you send in a card already graded and it receives a grade bump, BGS will not remove the original grade from the population report. Once it's been graded, it stays on the report even if they regraded in encapsulated holder.

That could be the same card graded 6 times for all we know

It may very well be some guy with a 9.5 trying to turn it into a 10.

I THINK I know of 4 pulled but..
I KNOW that at least 1 of them was resubmitted and eventually got a 9.5.
That would account for the 6 report.
