need help, 2005 etopps aaron rodgers, no sticker

Picked these up off COMC, but never even realized that theres no sticker on the back to show it came from topps. What is the deal with this? Can't seem to find any info, if maybe these got backdoored or something?

Don't remember any getting back doored . Could be topps missed putting on card? It was like that on COMC with pic they had . Just bad job of COMC of not catching. So you can do two things.

1 contact topps and see if they can give you any info on it . I doubt you will get any where but worth a shot.

Weren't all etopps cards in sealed cases with topps seal on them. Looks like this card was removed from it's original case.

I dont think that started till 2007, but not totally sure.

They used to put uncut sheets in their catalog, and those did not have stickers. It could have been cut from one of those.

option A (most likely since there is no sticker) - sheet cut

option B - sent in for grading, did not like the grade and broke it out.

option C - was in a PC and owner did not like encased cards

option D - was going for in person auto

Yea I wasnt sure ALL of them were sealed, good to know. I just thought they started the fully sealed sets around 2006-07 as I have seen quite a few raw prior to that year. I guess they were cracked.

If I remember correctly they didn't seal or sticker the cards until shipment was requested prior to the closing of eTopps. When they ended the eTopps program they allowed people to have their cards shipped in bulk unsealed for a shipping discount. I guess that included not having a sticker placed on it.

I guess for those that seem confused....if you look on the bottom back of the card, there is a spot for a sticker. (one of those topps authentic stickers) I have a bgs 10 with sticker if someone wants to see it. but I am not reffering to the sticker on the encapsulated case, but on the card itself

Not sure what else your looking for. The card was pulled from it's sealed etopps case and someone took the stickers off back of the card and probably tried using them to fake something else. I know
Most collectors just prefer buying etopps cards in original topps sealed cases.
