Busted 6 boxes of misc. 2011 stuff last night and pulled this bad boy.
Not looking to sell but curious if anyone has an idea of the print run?
I see one listed on the bay but no previous sales.
What's the scoop?

Not sure of the print run but if you would have pulled this 4 years ago, you would be swimming in money Scrooge McDuck style.

I would bet there are roughly 10-15 copies in the world.

There are definitely more than this, but I don't believe the print run goes over 100-150, if that

I'd guess print run is 10-25. Would be shocked if it's as high as 50.

Very nice card, congrats!

There is definitely not that many. I bet the print run on these is comparable to the throwback autos and die cuts in more current releases. /15 All you have to do is look at completed listings to see there are not many floating around.

We can look at any autographed insert set from 2011 and say the same thing, because 2011 product isn't as plentiful or broke as much now. There aren't many floating around ebay now, but there were when this released.

If I remember correctly, the Rookie Recognition autographs roughly fell every 1-2 cases (I want to say 1/case), so there are certainly more than 10-25 copies. I will agree however that most likely the top-tier players were SP'd more than the lower tier guys.

I had quite the massive Vereen PC going and used to search for every copy of this card I could get my hands on, searching ebay multiple times a day for nearly 3 years, I only ever saw 4 copies. I own 2 of them. I'd say most are probably dead on with their guesses, between 15-25 likely, with some possibly shorter than that.

What are the pack odds of hitting one(if you still have a wrapper)? If we know how many there are in the checklist and none of them are SP more than others we should be able to figure it pretty easily. Would need to know superfractor odds to figure total print run also.

You are a smart man.
Trash day is today and I tossed all of the packaging but managed to find one stray!
Superfractor odds are 1:15,900
Rookie Recognition Refractor Auto 1: 818

I am a banker but this math is too intense for me LOL!

Slight smudge to the right of the panther logo so not sure it's worth BGS although the rest of the card looks mint. I am a rookie when it comes to sending anything into BGS. Have a huge stack of cards I'd love to send in I just never do it!

I would say there over 20+ copies of this card, but no more than 30 (but I could be wrong). I also would not grade it. I was able to buy a bgs 9 for around $75 months ago. Back in 2011, this card bgs 9.5/10 was getting $250+.

I am a banker but this math is too intense for me LOL!

So I wasn't too far off:

24 packs/box
12 boxes/case

288 packs/case, so 818/288 = 1 Rookie Recognition Auto per 2.84 cases

I'll let someone else take the math from there...

Let me look up how many were in the checklist and I will get it figured. Might be a little bit as I am at work.
