They've stuffed the run pretty good. Gotta say those 15 yard passes we talked about the other day from Bortles look real nice.

Chiefs' Defense looks extremely nasty, their offense didn't look too bad either. Alex Smith was 16/18 for 171 yds and 2 TD's. Aaron Murray looked pretty good (still a little raw), Mariota was having issues with his receivers not getting open and he was under duress most of the game. The Chiefs' Secondary also played really well, lots of tight coverage and guys making plays on the ball.

One really great play for the night, on a scramble out to his right, Mariota looked to have a clear path to possibly get a 1st Down, Justin Houston maintained his containment and closed on Mariota in about a heartbeat worth of time, Mariota also took umbrage with Houston's actions after the play, which seemed to be fairly typical of Houston.

Another positive thing I saw in the game was the development of Dee Ford, Dee rushed at Taylor Lewan and shoved the LT back about a yard and a half without anything other than his hands.

Justin Houston is in midseason form, Eric Berry looked like he's fast & healthy (had what looked like a lengthy Fumble Return that was ruled an incomplete pass to Supernaw) and Derrick Johnson is back. I am also super excited about Ramik Wilson, he continued to rack up tackles during the game.

Could be a wonderful season in KC this year.

Chicago will be without their top 4 WRs on the roster tonight. Alshon is in uniform, but only went through warmups. Royal and Wilson are not in uniform, but went through warms ups. They are all projected to be ready for week 1 according to beat writers.

Again it's preseason, we were rotating guys in and out to give other guys a look. For example McDougald and Swearinger gave way to the pathetic tandem of Chris Conte and Keith Tandy very early on, so they eould be able to evaluate them. I wanted him to get creamed which he did. My favorite play of the night.

I think what talib did was completely fine as hey you hurdle you better be ready to get fd up but Bruton #30 was out of line as he made the hit out of bounds.

Dallas Cowboys were 0-4 last preseason, lost 10 of their last 11 preseason games. Completely meaningless in term of wins and losses and final score. It's about evaluation and learning experiences.
