Should I be worried?

Hey guys,
I put out a card into my mailbox to be picked up on Saturday. I saw the mailman was riding around the neighborhood, so I figured I'd place it there so s/he could grab it when they got to my house.
I'm unsure as to what happened next. Since Saturday, NO update has shown. The card was $60 card. The person has accused me of not sending the card out, which is blatantly wrong. I have been trying to get rid of this card for a long time. It's not Tuesday morning and the tracking has not changed.

What do I do?

Stop the mail man today and ask him if he picked it up. Nothing you can do besides that. I don't trust the post office so I take every package to the counter and have them scan it and I get a receipt NO EXCEPTIONS

Talk to your mailman. I have had packages not update until they were delivered. I would give it to the end of the week.

This happens to me ALL the time- my PO is notoriously horrible for not scanning packages at all and most of the time, I just get a delivery notice. I'd wait a week and then if it doesn't show up- start worrying....

I take all of my outgoing mail directly to the post office because I had too many bad experiences with mail being left on the street.

I agree. 100%. Yes it is time consuming, im basically at the post office three times a week, but anything over a 1 dollar card gets hand delivered.

I hate to pile on but that is the only way to do it

That being said, it's probably there. Often they don't scan it. Only being Tuesday I'd bets it's there Wednesday.

They are still a moron and should not be buying on Ebay.. Unless of course the card was actually sold earlier than say Thursday.

Just saw this. 50% jump in late letters since the begining of the year for USPS.
