A lot of players were having good seasons when the strike happened. When they canceled the WS, I was pretty ticked off. Baseball was never quite the same for me after that.

Ah 1994. The final year I was a True Blue Dodgers fan....
Been an Anaheim Angels fan ever since.

and don't forget Jeff Bagwell! Ridiculous .368/.451/.750 with 39hr and 116rbi in 110 games - won the mvp, but i wonder what he coulda done with a full season.

Ah the strike. I stopped collecting baseball cards as a result. It took me twenty years to get back into collecting again.

My collecting definitely changed after that and hasn't really ever fully recovered.

Same for me. It didn't take 20 years to start collecting again, but it was quite awhile.

The Yankees were in the AL, but Expos had the best record in baseball by far. They ended with a 0.649 winning percentage. Yanks were 2nd at 0.620. Two other teams were just under 0.600 when the season was canceled.
