Card Show today

Went to a card show today in Raleigh, picked up a few pieces for some set needs. Prices on boxes were a little overpriced $75 for Topp Chrome? Was going to pick up a Correa chrome SP and then the guy days well, it books at $80.... I walked away.

Stop by target and picked up a blaster of chrome and what do I pull? A Correa SP. should have asked about a Bryant auto lol.

Nice! $75 for a box is high for sure. They are $60 at my local card show, and I just picked one up on EBay for $60-ish with shipping.

Nothing else of not to anyone else but need all the sepia in the pack and a couple refractors. $40 card for $20 bucks is decent.

Definitely. I have bought 1 hobby box, 1 blaster box, and 2 of the retail 3-packs. No Correa yet, and no SP cards at all. I can't complain, though. I think I've done ok with the purchases I made so far. Can't wait for my Ebay box to arrive!

Went to the same show but I went on Saturday. I always love going to the Raleigh show. Good selection of everything you could want. The three day shows are better than the two day ones, I think. Usually more dealers then. A lot of regulars at this show since it is about every other month, so you see a lot of the same cards. Picked up some Nolan Ryan relics for my PC but not much else. I didn't go with the intent of spending very much so I succeeded on that note.

If ya'll liked the Raleigh show check out the Hickory 1 day show next Saturday. Topps Chrome BB will be $59/$129 I'm pretty sure. Guys there beat BO's prices for the most part.

Think the tables are split between cards and toys and not sure how many tables exactly. The cards section is pretty good overall with a few guys having wax (with one big dealer with usually four tables full). If anyone will have WWE products, it's him.

At least you have card shows lol. We only get like 3 a year and 2 of them I have to travel almost an hour and a half to get to.

WWE Undisputed has been delayed until 11/4 so no dealers will have it next weekend.

In all honesty, my best advice would be to save up until the first weekend in November and go to the GBSCC Shriner's show in Wilmington, MA (northwest of Boston). My father and I, in addition to the three Syracuse shows here in town, make the trip to Pittsburgh in May, at least one of the Philly shows in King of Prussia, and of course Greater Boston, and Greater Boston is by far the most enjoyable. And hey, you're right by I-90 and have like an hour and a half less of a drive then we do. Do it! You won't be disappointed! :)!

The Syracuse show is 2 of the 3 shows I go to (along with the annual Thanksgiving Eve show in Johnstown) but won't drive any further than that for a show. Been to White Plains a couple times but that was about 10 years ago. The 2nd week of November I'm packing up the clubs and heading to Myrtle Beach for a week to get out of this weather so kinda saving up for that but thanks for the recommendations.
