I watched this game and even with 18 penalties the Bills were still in it.. Held Beckham jr to 35 yards. Aside from the penalties you could tell no Watkins/Mccoy hurt them. Between the early 3 and outs where they couldnt move the ball and the redzone plays where they couldnt punch it in I feel they would have won with Watkins and Mccoy. That Defense was on the field the whole game.

the defense killed themselves with penalties today, and Tyrod didnt look very comfortable or confident all day until late..

also..HAVE to make that tackle on the sideline and still wouldve had a shot

Ugly ugly UGLY win. If we were playing a decent team we would have been dead and buried plenty of times in the first half. Can't afford to start out slow next week vs the Bengals because that could become a blowout fast if we play like we did this week.

makes it that much sweeter that i live in Nashville and despise the Titans/local media coverage

shouldve known it was going to be an ugly game after the opening kickoff Turnover-no turnover..:doh:

our offense is barely hanging on by a thread due to the injuries..good news is, it seems like Watkins and Karlos should be back next week to help out, i hope..

i know Boobie is a fan favorite..but he is terrible as a starter

thanks god our defense is actually keeping us in games despite the offensive injuries and all the penalties

LeSean, Williams, and Watkins can't come back soon enough. The offense has looked terrible without them. At least they didn't have 10+ penalties this game. Though that 15 yard penalty late on 3rd and long about did me in. The NFL has gotten ridiculous where you have to let a a guy catch a pass because you get flagged if you don't give them enough time to secure a pass.

I'm not a die hard Bills fan, but I'm an hour away, so I watch their games regularly...

I don't think we've truly seen what this team is capable of, minimal Sammy and minimal Shady McCoy so far...

Tyrod has been a bright spot, has made even the more uglier games entertaining to watch... Which is more than we can say for past seasons...

Tough game next week against Cincy and then it really should be smooth sailing until Week 11, New England.

12-4 is doable, but I think 10-6/11-5 is more realistic at this point, MAYBE a Wild Card spot?.

I don't know but they need to fix it soon. They are averaging what? Half as many sacks as last year at this pace. A win is a win but if you are going to play down to your competition you leave yourself open to losing games you should win. I had high expectations for this team and making the playoffs but I have my doubts after seeing the product Buffalo is putting out the first 5 games.

The Bills remain in "wait and see" mode with Karlos Williams (concussion).
Coach Rex Ryan claimed he felt "good" about Williams' status, but sounded more optimistic about Sammy Watkins (calf).

Honestly, I'm confused on your insight on game play, but it seems as though you don't watch the games...

Tyrod Taylor looked shaky against the Giants??? How so? Because his stats weren't as good as other games? I know you didn't see his TD run that got called back, because you said it never happened... but did you see the receiver fall down in the end zone? Did you see Charles Clay lazy play that cost him the first INT, and almost cost him a 2nd INT? Did you notice that Tyrod had no balls thrown high in game 4, which was his major problem through the first 3 games???

Just wondering. Admittedly it tilts me that people can't see anything past stats... A good thrown ball is a good thrown ball, regardless of it being caught, or a receiver falling down...

Tyrod is getting little help from Clay, Woods, or anyone else besides Hogan. Hogan has made the necessary catches and played extremely well. Clay has nearly cost Tyrod three INTs now, he has dropped a couple easy balls, and he failed to get his feet inbounds yesterday on a perfectly thrown ball which would've been a huge gain early in the game.

Bills are fine... they just need their core players back; ones that can actually catch. If Tyrod needs to throw to Clay 10 times a game just so that he can get glorified stats, there is certainly going to be trouble. Clay isn't efficient at all. Woods is putrid and is not only soft and can't catch but he couldn't get out of a simple break yesterday, slipped and fell on what would've been a big first down later in the game.

Sad all around. Bills should finish 10-6 though minimum. Defense needs to quit with all of the pass interference calls

Looks like it will be EJ against the Bengals and Jags. Hopefully Tyrod can make it back healthy after the bye week.

I know preseason matters very little, but EJ didn't look half-bad in the preseason. Hopefully he'll string together a few good runs with Woods like he did in 2013.

EJ is a viable back up and we should expect at least a 1-1 stretch until Taylor gets back. Roman has some work to do without the options that Taylor brings. Here's hoping Watkins and Karlos are back this week.
