View Full Version : Who is the best Offensive Player to come out of the 2013 Draft Class?

Just a quick question for everyone here on Blowout....Who do you think is the best Offensive Player as of right now to come out of the 2013 Draft Class....Lacy? Bell? One of the WR's (Allen, Hopkins)?
The real reason I ask is that I was lucky enough to pull the 2013 Topps Chrome Le'veon Bell Superfractor (Non-Auto) in '13...I sold it that year towards the end of the season for a nice amount, but can't help but think did I sell way too early?? What does everyone think the card would sell for nowadays? It's tough to say as there is not much to look at in terms of completed sales etc, especially for a Superfractor lol....Any input/thoughts/comments are appreciated, thanks a lot :)

if you are talking "hobby", then it's an RB. WR's just don't hold hobby love. Neither do RB's that well, but they do better than WRs. And the QBs from that class have tanked.
Bell and Lacy hands down, and maybe Gio Bernard the way he's playing this year.
if we're talking talent, Hopkins, Bell, Lacy, Ellington (when he can stay healthy he's got lightning in a bottle each rep), Keenan Allen
If we're talking performance:
-Deandre Hopkins, Laveon Bell, Eddie Lacy (though his team has a lot to do with this), Bahktiari, Stills (when healthy), Terrence Williams (when he's a second fiddle, not the prime target), Worrilow, Ogletree, honey badger, Ellington (if he can stay healthy)

Zach Ertz!!!
he's got talent for sure. I just don't know if he's going to be able to take the beating his body needs to take to stay in the game long-term.

Bell and Hopkins are about it. Allen and Lacy have been good too. Patterson went from good to a dumpster fire.
EDIT: Even then, its been kind of odd. These guys have a stigma of being part of this class, so its been much harder to get value out of them. At the same time, the football market is super soft as it is. They are part of positions that have very little value in the hobby anymore.
With football if you arent a generational talent, you have to be a QB to have any value really.

I know he's cooled off since week 1 but Travis Kelce prob worth a mention.

i can't believe I forgot about a bearcat.
if he was on a team that had a deep game to open up the mid/underneath stuff for him, he'd be a beast week-in week-out.

Tell you what, Tavon Austin is starting to become a valuable weapon for the Rams. Not deserving of the list yet but looking better.
Eddie Lacy
Leveon Bell
Keenan Allen
Deandre Hopkins
Gio Bernard

Since nobody ever seems to care about offensive linemen, I'll throw some in the mix that are definitely performing at an elite level:
Travis Frederick
Lane Johnson
Ricky Wagner
I'd say that those guys are probably the best in the class outside of Bell and Hopkins. Each of those players have been playing Top 5 at their respective positions and have been really good so far.
Andrew Jones

I'd say Bell. Marshall Faulk gushes about his talent and he probably knows a thing or two about RBs.

I have to say, if you're a "just for fun" type of breaker you can get some pretty awesome deals on 2013 stuff right now. Some products are nearing $5 a hit now, as crappy as most of those hits will probably be. But it you can find a veteran heavy set you might be able to get a really good deal.

Overall a crap class!!
From a Raiders fan I think this is too high for Murray. He has definitely shown some great potential; but hasn't shown enough consistently yet to be this high, especially higher than Lacy. Del Rio was not about after the Broncos game and made it sound like he thought Murray could have played but Murray himself had removed himself from the game.

Andre Ellington will end up top 5 out of this class if he stays healthy. Guy is really talented. I mean his first game back yesterday he breaks of a 63 yard td run.
