The centerpiece of my Broncos collection

I have wanted one of these for a long while, I consider it the only card that may actually increase in value.

One of my favorite cards of all time. I have one graded at 7 but I might look at getting a higher grade one soon.

1. Sweet, iconic card in a great grade. Awesome.

if you're sensitive and want to accuse me of raining on a parade then don't read #2

2. I am amazed that the centering graded what it did, since it clearly diamond cut. Also, that thing is definitely cut from a sheet as the left to right borders are HUGE.

Ive seen a lot of PSA 10 that weren't as nice as this one. PSA's centering sometimes is a little whacky on 10's but yet they sell for way more... try to figure that one out because id like to know too

I did a fair (not a ton) bit of research on the Elway 9.5's.... I am very aware that the likelihood of it being sheet cut is high. The only way around it is to find a BGS 9.5 with a lower grade on the edges signifying that it is indeed "pack pulled". At the end of the day I feel like it graded 9.5. The "possibility" of it being sheet cut wasn't enough for me to seek out one with a lower edge grade. The "drawbacks" also were not worth ponying up what a PSA 10 goes for....

Also, WTF is diamond cut? I hadn't seen anything about that.

EDIT: PS: BAH! Sensitive. Negative ghost rider, the pattern is full. :D

Well, if a vintage card is good enough to earn a PSA 10, they command a HIGH premium. I honestly never noticed the centering on the PSA 10s.

The mirror gold is next on my list. I'll look into getting one this offseason so I can save up for it by then.

You should think about getting a Floyd Little rookie card too if you don't have one already. Before Elway, Little was the MAN. I never had the bennifit of seeing him play but the stories I heard and the books I have read, he was something special for the Broncos.

Yes, the Floyd Little is on the list, as is an Alzado and a Sharpe. :)
