real disappointed right now... brother went to target and came home with a box of excalibur premium.. the one with 3 hits guaranteed.
Opened it and 0 hits... on top of that only 51 cards rather than the 60 that should be in each box, along with only 4 rookies, 4 knight courts, 3 juggernauts, and 6 nobility cards... 0 memorabilia or autos (for what its worth, the rookies were mcdermott, powell, mcdaniels, and adams) no crusades at all.
the box still had the red security tape on it... i further inspected the individual wrappers and noticed that on every pack there was one sticky side at the top and the bottom of the wrapper there was nothing sticky.
REALLY disappointed and don't ever expect to buy another "high end" target box after this. Just wanted people to be aware that this can happen, i will be sticking to my LCS from here on out.:(

no its the one that has been on every excalibur box I've seen... if it is peeled, it showed opened on the wrapper so you know it has been tampered with. this tape was fully intact and i peeled it off myself.

This right here. Op, you may need to explain to the person at the counter how breaking wax works and how you feel this was tampered with.

Hell yeah try and return that crap right away. It might not work but the box was totally tampered with because maybe being short a hit is one thing but all the hits no way.

Stop buying at retailers who are known to have pack searchers and sketchy merchandise like Target, and just shop online at Blowout where you're assured of receiving the natural odds without tampering.

^THIS!! I know my Target has someone on the payroll that searches before the boxes hit the shelves. My only hope is that the person has the day off when the boxes hit the shelves........

Wrong, wrong, wrong.......do you have any idea what you are talking about? All the high end boxes have the red security tape. It does NOT mean it was opened. The problem with the Excalibur boxes is that the end of the box where there is no tape is easy to open, then the packs can be taken out and put back in. If someone really wanted to take the time it could be done easily, that's why I won't buy them, they are easily tampered with.

This article was written 3 years ago, and it was about a $20 (or $30) box. With card companies continue to roll out $100+ boxes, I wouldn't be surprised that people target guarantee hits even more.

Relax doggie, I thought he meant the red tape from Target that means it was resealed by them.
