Yeah he is. Wish he'd stop because I have dwight in alot of my lineups. Lol.
Kevin Mchale keeps talking bad about the refs. He may get tossed if he doesn't calm down.

They backed down immediately following the opening tip.

Harden has looked horrid on offense and lazy on defense. Last year he made strides in defense and now looks like he regressed.

Yeah...it was funny how they were saying that it was like an extension of the Western Conference Finals last year...too funny!

Live by the three die by the three. Houston wont win when harden goes 1/10 from downtown. This cant continue...Right? :o

Harden is missing shots that he can easily make last season.. Could it be the Kardashians effect..LOL

Too early to judge but with Klay not playing well and in foul trouble early and Bogut out the Rockets should have been closer than this

Houston looks like pretender than a contender early on this season.

They're definitely the most inconsistent of the Western playoff teams. They just have to hope they catch fire at the right time. Even then though, I don't see any team beating the Thunder, they look flat-out incredible right now.

Really? The Thunder? i actually see more postieves in the Rockets then them. The Rockets are going to be fine once Lawson gets familiar with the system and Harden eventually goes back to hitting his shots.
OKC though? they needed crazy heroics from Durant and Westbrook to beat the Magic last night. The Warriors would destroy them.

Rockets have strides where they look good, but mostly they look bad. They have good players, and a good system, but everything is inconsistent.
Howard is one of the biggest disappointments in NBA history IMO. Yes, he still does put up stats, but he should be DOMINANT. He should be SHAQ-like by now. The guy still can't make free throws and has zero post moves. Trained with Olajuwon, etc. and his only moves are a right-handed jump hook, and a drive-left, spin back right to the right-handed jump hook lol ... it's just lazy and pathetic on Howards part. Such a disappointing waste of talent. Commits bad fouls, plays very lazy and with no intensity. Has a horrific offensive game and his damn coach is Kevin McHale! They're getting destroyed by like 20 points during the game and Howard could be seen laughing and joking at things. Guy is just there to collect a check, nothing more.
Rockets have no identity. James Harden is a great offensive player, but he doesn't seem like much of a franchise player. He seems more like a Jamal Crawford. An offensive guy who does little else for his team. And his offense is only good when the refs are making bad calls to get him to the line.
I do love that Harden's BS of initiating contact is getting less calls, and therefore we're seeing him struggle offensively. Last season I couldn't even watch the Rockets play because any time Harden drives to the hoop and misses a layup, it's an automatic whistle tweet. There was even one play last night that he got away with it, where he threw his body into McAdoo. I mean, it was blatantly obvious he wasn't even ATTEMPTING to make the shot, he just threw his arms and shoulders directly into the defender. Sure, people can say it's an "art". But I'm glad to see the referring this year has tightened up on this kind of crap. Hopefully it stays consistent throughout the year.
As for OKC, they look unstoppable now. But if KD and RW are going to average 40-50 mpg and 30+ FGAs per game, for 82 games, that is going to show come Playoff time ... if not sooner. It's funny to hear analysts and other sports commentators talk about how KD and RW need to shoulder the load of the offense. That's not true at all. It's more so that they WANT to be the offensive heroes. KD and RW want to take 30+ shots per game and score 50ppg. They want to, because they're good enough to do that. They don't want to score 20ppg. They barely want to pass the ball to eachother. I'm not sure why people think they want the help? Russell is ridiculously good all-around. But there's no way he should be shooting 36 shots in a game as a PG. Durant had 30 shots, but only 2 assists? I'm sure on those 15 misses he had, he could have made a good pass to a teammate instead.
Anyways, it will be interesting to see how this season progresses for these two teams!

Harden remains my favorite non-Spur to watch. I don't look forward to watching any other team outside of San Antonio, except Houston.

OKC has looked good?????
Not to me they damn near lost to the magic (who are not good) and if Westbrook and Durant hadn't have shot so good in both games they would be 0-2.
Westbrook, KD and Kanter are on their game right now but Ibaka and the bench are not good right now. If either westbrook or KD are off on any night OKC will be hard pressed to win.
Maybe KD and westbrook can shoot 50% all year and keep them afloat but if they want to be a scary team they need some more from Ibaka Waiters and Morrow.

That's the thing, the team has been off (and the Magic were HOT) and they still can''t lose. KD and Westbrook are just on a completely different level.
