I agree with this. Let's also remember, Curry is 27 years old so I don't see the dominating for another 10-15 years. He's a late bloomer due to injuries so his long term stats won't even match up with guys like Lebron, Kobe etc

I understand that..... and the majority of people were ready to give Lebron the MVP in that series; that is my point. It was Lebron vs a loaded GS team. Do you really think the outcome of that series is the same if you take the 2nd and 3rd best players off GS for the entire series? Per isn't exactly a great stat. Obviously there is only one Michael, but if Curry keeps replicating his last two seasons he will surpass Kobe statistically.

I would have to strongly disagree. Kobe in his prime was an infinitely better defender and his prime seasons of 30+ ppg averaging 6 reb and 5 asts while being one of the leagues elite on ball defenders are not miles below Curry's MVP season by any measure.

Curry is a very entertaining player and a freakishly good shooter but to say he should have a better career than Kobe is aggressive.
