Blasphemous, no.
He's a very good player, but Jordan and Kobe are another level above Curry.
He may be the best shooter the game has seen, but it is hard to call him more dominant than either of those two guys.

Please, show me where I stated he can't finish at the rim?
I stated he may be the best shooter in the game. That would be his legacy, not a guy that can finish at the rim.
EDIT: Here are his shooting stats on the season. Notice, that 43 of his 84 shots are from 3pt range. That's a shooter to me.

Honestly... and call me biased if you want as y'all know how big of a Curry and Dubs fan I am... but this is my thought.
There have been so many greats... but in recent memory it's been Jordan... Kobe... Lebron... and I'd add Durant. While it may be a lil premature... Curry looks to be the next in that lineage... he still has a lot to show and prove but he's on that path....

Stephen Curry is the best basketball player in the world right now.
Anybody can pretty much take these stats for 4 games and stick em...... Steph is young, shooting his ass off, and having fun. Lebron is a bit older, thinking about how he can get his body ready for a long season and win another championship. The two guys are such opposite styles there is no way to say one is better than another based off stats alone; let alone 4 games worth. PER is fine, but when you know Lebron is picking and choosing his spots of course it won't be up to that of Curry who is probably trying to win a scoring title and MVP. When the lights shine brightest, Lebron is still the best player in the world. I mean just a few months ago everyone was ready to give him the MVP in a series they lost in 6 games; come on now. In time Curry will be better because Lebron will decline as he ages.... but whether that be game 64 this year or game 7 of 2018; it surely is not right now

Ya for real lets be honest here everybody if lebron wanted to he could easily average 30-35 a game he just does not chose to so like i said before everybody calm down. Cant wait till cavs beat them this year if it a rematch with a healthy cavs team. Switch roles if curry was on the cavs last year he would of got swept in 4. If we are talking about short runs of games, these last 3 games for Curry have been as dominating as anything i've seen from Kobe and maybe Jordan. But comparing him to either of them in any other way has to wait until he accomplishes much more for a much longer time.

If roles were switched and curry was on cavs he would have got swept please man. Warriors just had a 100xs better team. And cavs lost everybody tlastyear if cavs healthy it a different story.

I agree with this. Let's also remember, Curry is 27 years old so I don't see the dominating for another 10-15 years. He's a late bloomer due to injuries so his long term stats won't even match up with guys like Lebron, Kobe etc

Those are all what ifs. We're basing it on what actually happened. No excuses, no what ifs. Curry brought it to the center stage last year and won a championship. Why are you trying to take it away from him?
I never understood why people always go around trying to take away things from players rather than celebrating what they achieved. Curry and Warriors won a championship last year because they were the best team in the league. Instead we have people trying to discredit them by saying "IF" so and so were healthy, they would have won...or "IF" you put so and so on this team they would win or lose. Sorry, this isn't NBA2k16. This is the NBA where you can go back and switch players around on teams and discount injuries to form fit who wins and who doesn't.

I give them credit they won but be realistic here it 10000% true what i said they did win your right but trust me it would have been a 1000% different outcome with healthy cavs we will see this year. Warriors won i give you that but they had one of the easiest roads ever to win it all can't deny that. Also curry did play like trash in the finals that why iggy won MVP so I'm right about that to.

I understand that..... and the majority of people were ready to give Lebron the MVP in that series; that is my point. It was Lebron vs a loaded GS team. Do you really think the outcome of that series is the same if you take the 2nd and 3rd best players off GS for the entire series? If Lebron and his team are fairly healthy this year and the same thing happens or they don't even make the finals... the passing of the torch to someone else may be in order.

Is there luck involved? Yes. Was it lucky the Dubs stayed healthy all season? Yes. Would the Spurs and Clippers have been a tougher matchup in the playoffs? Probably. Would a healthy Kevin Love and Kyrie have made a difference? Most definitely. Would a healthy Kyrie and Love won the championship for the Cavs? The world will never know.

It's amazing how quickly fans get caught up in the hype of the moment. Curry has had a few excellent games but yes, it is blasphemous to say he is more dominant than MJ, Kobe, LBJ etc.
Anyone that could even think that must have never seen MJ play or is too clouded by visions of recent Kobe to remember what he did in his prime.
And yes, LBJ is currently better than Curry. Don't let 4 games fool you. If I'm drafting a player for this season I'm taking LBJ over Curry all day.

Yes it's crazy.
The NBA today is not as talented, violent or deep as it was in the 1990s.
John Paxson won 3 rings.
Curry has one.

John Paxson has 3 rings thanks to Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen! He didn't have the impact that Curry had during the championship seasons.

I think Lebron will get another ring this year IF the Cavs stay healthy
If not I see San Antonio winning it again
With that being said, Curry has certainly become one of the best players in the league
But I dont see him anywhere near Lebron, nor do I expect him to be
Curry is great for who he is and how could you hate on him?
Hes a great player and great for the NBA

I think they may be testing our will and commitment.

Really? Yes he was a role player but he played his part to perfection and did what he needed to do to help his team win. He had an impact and drilled key shots when they were needed.

I would say Kahwi is playing just as well defensively as Curry is playing well offensively. And I would also say Kahwi's Offense is better than Curry's defense. So I look forward to the next Spurs / Warriors game.

My point is that one of Jordan's role players has 3 times as many rings as Curry.
So slow the comparisons, everyone always wants to compare guys to MJ. Curry is his own player, an all time great at that, no need to compare him to MJ they got totally different games and impacts at the moment.

Curry's last season would have been Kobe's best by a mile. His season before would have been one of Kobe's top 3. He definitely should have a better career when it's all said and done. You just can't put Kobe anywhere near Michael's tier. Rings are a team thing, and statistically speaking it could be argued that Kobe never had the best season on a championship team. (Shaq and Pau rated higher by advanced measures).

Let's let him score 2,000 points in a season at least once first, then let him repeat that for a decade to catch Jordan at 11 (with 1 > 3000), or Lebron at 9 and counting, or Kobe at 8... Curry's MVP season PER was 28, Jordan's CAREER average PER was 29.1 with Chicago and 27.9 overall.
Per isn't exactly a great stat. Obviously there is only one Michael, but if Curry keeps replicating his last two seasons he will surpass Kobe statistically.

I would have to strongly disagree. Kobe in his prime was an infinitely better defender and his prime seasons of 30+ ppg averaging 6 reb and 5 asts while being one of the leagues elite on ball defenders are not miles below Curry's MVP season by any measure.
Curry is a very entertaining player and a freakishly good shooter but to say he should have a better career than Kobe is aggressive.
A 5 time champion, MVP, 2x Finals MVP, 17x all star, 4x AS MVP, 15x All NBA Team, 12x All defensive team, and 3rd All Time Scoring leader. Curry better stay supernova hot for another 15 years.

You really have to read that a few times to put it in perspective...... I hate Kobe but damn that is a list of accomplishments
