I opened my only 09 case on Friday the 13th and pulled the Coffee RAP to his jersey#...the day he quit, lol. Nice to finally see some nice hits out of this stuff, the breaks were brutal when it first went live.

What do you want for the ap and barry wanders quad and what do you want for the mark sanchez matt stafford quad

These were some great cases. That quad is ridiculous. Too bad a card like that will never happen again.

A couple of observations......

1. That Quad is really awesome, so is the Sanchez/Stafford Dual Patch Auto.
2. Patches for a player's FORMER team should never be used when said player in PICTURED in his current team's uniform. Unless, it's for some type of Flashback-themed set. Brees is nice but the SD patches are a cop-out.
3. O-Line and D-Line players should NEVER be featured in a patch rookies. Unless, it's some out of the world, popular player. Donkeykong Suh comes to mind.
4. The patch rookies should really be no more than 20 cards of the absolute cream of the rookie crop. There is no need for Jason Smith, Pat White, Andre Brown, Derrick Williams, Ramses Barden to be the rookie in a $500 pack. There is no rule stating you have to put 1 rookie per pack. I would rather see 1/2 rookies per case and make them good ones.

Allow me to say that yes I agree w/ regard to that quad autograph and I certainly agree with your position concerning UD's design superiority. I enjoy your blog and will testify to your skills as a writer; however, I do feel you exhibit bias to a fairly significant degree. Between the Sanders & co and Sanchez & co quad autos this guy will likely recoup anywhere from 700-900 in expenses. The Drew Brees booklet and a couple others will fetch a premium; however, we are talking about $5500 worth of product here. He still has a long way to go to ameliorate that huge cost. I wish him the best but I still think UD owes him more at that price point. Just my opinion.

I do hear what your saying but if i was busting Cases to make Money i would have been BROKE a long time ago. This is a hobby and i do it for fun. That way i am really never dissapointed in what we obtain through our breaks. I dont recommend anyone trying to make a living busting this high end stuff but it sure is FUN. If this ever becomes a JOB i will def. Quit Busting Cases.
