BF Break - Adventure Time

UPS must already be in holiday freak out mode to get stuff through the system quick. 1st order showed up today - 6 boxes of Adventure Time.

The usual 6 autographs. The Walch and Olson are 2 of the better ones.

The usual stellar sketch work that is common on this product. I've probably opened 8 to 10 cases worth of this stuff. I don't think I've ever hit sketches where the characters are imitating Rapunzel like this. 2 in 6 boxes is odd. Probably keeping the Hochberg.

Wow... great BREAK! I love the Tree Trunks sketch!

Hopefully they make a series 2 of this. It was probably the best set of 2014.

These are the ones I've seen. The bottom Marceline is mine. I think It's funny both Bubblegum's are waving a white cloth.

Thanks, everyone. Yeah, this is always a fun set to break as the sketches are consistently interesting and good quality. I picked up the max both times it was posted, so there's more to come.

What are the odds on the oversized? Nice break.

Not sure if the odds were ever announced or able to be figured out by something Crypto had mentioned at some point. There are some collectors who built huge sketch collections from this release, and they might have a more educated guess. Mine would be in the 1:20 cases range, for a redemption. I think that'd put production at 6k boxes, which seems like a reasonable amount for a Cryptozoic product at that time.

There really is a huge difference in the quality of work on this set vs. most of what is released now. You can tell there was an entirely different level of interest by the artists and, probably, freedom to use characters as they wished. Now, as many have implied across the media sites, the limits by the companies fighting over character rights they sold years ago result in disinterest and more less than mediocre stuff flooding the market. It's really a tribute to the creative freedom a license like this allowed. They really should do a second set, as someone mentioned in another thread. In just looking up some of these characters, the sheer amount I've not even seen utilized on sketches from this release is gigantic.
