Looking for good deals on your COMC port

I have a couple thousand in credit to drop on Ports I can flip over time for profit

My goal is to buy them from you for less than half of lowest on site, then double my ask and add to my auto accept 20% and 15% off sale to make a profit over time

If your cards are not lowest or really close to lowest please do not contact me and go lower them immediately

My feedback for you, or anyone looking to sell a port is this

1) Please make sure every card in your Port is lowest or very close to lowest on site. I will need to go in and re price the cards based on what I paid, and if they are out of line it screws up my whole process so I usually don't even bother.

2) Please make sure that lowest on site price is in line with what the card is worth (most famous examples are the only on site $49.74 cards)

3) Understand that I am purchasing the port to make a profit and consider if 20% - 33% of lowest ask is acceptable as an offer. Your total ask is $212.89. so my offer would range from $42.58 - $70.26

4) Take opportunity cost into account. With COMC Port buying I constantly have people telling me I will "make money if I have patience" on what they are trying to sell me. Tying the money up has a cost to me, and getting the available credit has value to you. The goal is fast turns on all inventory, so if it is going to sit for a long period of time I risk prices dropping, demand dropping, and the lack of free capitol to add additional items thru submissions or purchases

5) Have a price in mind when offering so I can go in and say yes or no

Your port specifically is tough for me because I know almost nothing about Hockey, and by the time you pay the $10 Port Listing fee it's almost like you aren't getting anything for the cards.

Not sure if this is informative or if you still want to sell the Port, but let me know

As someone who buys ports - these are all great points.

Throwing mine up. If you want to look at it cool, if not that is okay too. I know that not everything is the lowest, but I would think that 95% of it is. I am sure you can find some I might be totally off on, but you are also going to find so much more that you can make quite a bit on. My sale will be up if I can ever get the internet to work with COMC.

not to pick on you lol but the link below shows why your port price offers will never be even close to where you would think you would get...lowest on site is like .35 and you have like 5 of them at $5 each....possible port buyers see this and any chance of you selling it pretty slim....if I seen that I wouldn't even check another card id move on to the next port lol

If I pay $805, my list is $1,610 (assuming your items are all lowest and fair) and my 15% off sale makes it $1,368.50

The cards exist unsold in your port today because people are unwilling to pay the prices currently attached. I can cherry pick ports for 100% markup so I need more incentive to acquire 910 cards that have gone unsold in this exact sales environment.

I apologize if this sounds harsh or unfair, I just think transparency works for me as I navigate port purchases

I understand what you're saying, but these are not the cards from last week.

The vast majority have been in my port for less than three days at this point. The other point I'll make is I generally don't run 50% sales and my pricing reflects that. When I priced these they were lowest on site or based on what I saw as comparable sales on eBay.

With the numbers I threw out, I'm only making a very small profit. Just thought I'd throw it out there and see if you were interested. I have some cards in my cart I'd like to purchase and need some additional funds to do that. The only reason I offered really.

I like you very much, and your port is a very high quality.

I've been considering selling all as a port - never done it before though. How much would you consider buying the port for (minus the Trout)?

Just a suggestion mate, ever thought about a mailing list or something where you cut and paste latest additions, so we don't have to go through 23K cards , haha! Or see if you can get comc to add a feature that allows users to search ports by "recently aquired"....

That's the way I'm headed too, OP. You bought a very small port from me and I used the money to add more. COMC is so much more fun than eBay. I can't wait until I get my whole non-PC collection sent in and loaded LOL.

Lately I've been paying 20-25% of ask against lowest so please consider that and adjust your ask accordingly

I buy 500-1,000 cards a week on COMC and I am a very serious buyer and immediate payer

Not selling my port, but I'm always trying to be lowest on the site... and I have quite a variety of cards. I always have a hard time NOT accepting offers, too.... Especially when the offer includes multiple cards. Check out my cards!
