I pulled this out of one of my Black Friday Boxes and am debating to sell or hold on to it. It's a great looking card. I don't collect him but noticed he's got a huge following. Is he a 1st ballot HOF? http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/12/13/1bd2b582d755e7084776e35648411365.jpg

that's one of the nicest AI autos out there. If you're gonna sell, be a bully and don't budge on your price.

Definitely a first-ballot HOFer.

And, you should sell it.

To me.

For cheap.

You already made up your mind that you want to sell...So I say list with high BIN and take an offer that satisfies you. If it doesn't come, wait til HOF.

I collect Iverson, great card!

And I will give you the best advice. Sell now. Sell before Panini makes more high end cards that are equivalent or better. Panini has been coming out with more and more Iverson auto's in each product. At the moment, that card is sought after because the lack of nice patch autos for him. Just like Tom Brady in football, Panini is cranking those out now as well. Over the years, collectors will have more to choose from, driving down prices. Don't be the guy holding out for a possible hundred extra profit.

I was just getting ready to say the exact same thing.

Another reason I'm selling my stuff.
Panini is flooding the market. Like with kobe.

I have no desire to try to keep up anymore. A million variations of each card is trash. The 90s were great. Cards started going downhill in 2009.

Yeah even when they have a good thing, like the 12-13 prizm product with only a few variations and the gold chase card. They still manage to screw it up the following years to amp up production and maximize profit. Shame.

Everyone expects a bump in his cards when he's inducted (yes - he'll be a 1st ballot!) so you know they will rise leading up to - but then drop pretty good afterwards... I'd say sell a few months before! Although - Panini just keeps making more and more Iverson's and releasing more and more sets - so you risk that they are pretty watered down by then... That's one of the nicer Panini releases and looks like it could have been from UD Ultimate or Exquisite - so it should still pretty good for awhile! I'll take it! ;)

Did panini produce a single Iverson patch auto this year ?

Edit: Nm looked it up. National treasures had a patch auto set but with sticker autos.

Don't think iverson had any on card autoa from panini this year.

Do agree that a general fear for all non rookie material is that the market will become flooded. I've been concentrating way more on RC because of this.

Every company would do the same...

I'm sure UD would stop printing Jordan/Lebron auto's in pro uniforms if they had a monopoly after 2009 to satisfy everyone's "investments"

Jordan Bulls auto patches would by $300 by now.

The thing is...no actually collects cards...they just want their investments protected...cards are way nicer now than 2009 or 90's but no one cares about nice cards...people care about cards that sell

I had that same card with a similar patch. I bought the first one one on eBay when that years Immaculate came out. Ended up selling about 6 months ago for a little profit. Outside of the /10 and 1/1 versions, it's probably his top modern card (Panini). That's years Flawless patch auto a close 2nd to me.

They haven't made an on card patch auto of his since. Doubt it will go down in value any time soon. Likely will see a spine when he's inducted. I'd hold til then.

I have his topps chrome RC refractor BGS 9 and have my 2nd favorite card of his on the way. I'll share once it comes in. That Immaculate card is one I'd like to have back.

You could definitely sell now, and buy back a very similar card for cheaper once he's overproduced. I personally would keep because he is such a huge part of basketball history and would love to own it.

Very nice looking card.... If you are selling I would do as some have mentioned and give a fairly high BIN and field offers.

I still prefer your card to this junk, but the point is that collectors will begin to have more options.
