So, a few years ago I was a huge Steph Curry fan. I had been a big Curry fan at Davidson. I was buying any curry card that I saw. As they were $20, 30, and 40 cards. I ended up with roughly 20 Curry autos along with 1000 base cards and around 100 rookie cards. With 100 jersey cards.
I kinda got out of the hobby 2 years ago and solf off my collection worth prob over $10k. Well I sold it for way under that value and it included some very nice cards.
SOme of the cards I remember were my Curry autos, Cam Newton rookie auto, Durant auto, Westbrook autos, and a ton more. I hated doing it and am wondering if anyone else has made the same mistake!

Dude, nobody can predict the future. It sucks, but it is not your fault.

You can make an even bigger mistake by purchasing a box of Panini Eminence for $6,000 :D
This hobby is crazy. But, typically, SUPERstars don't emerge after a few years in the league. Many people sold Curry or Lin too early, but some people sold Lin at the peak.
Sorry to hear you lost out, but you just need to find that next guy in-line to blow up! :)

This is true (hobby being crazy at times)…Buying Lin early and selling during the "hype" was something that had never been seen to that extent. That was wild. As far as Curry goes. You aren't the first, nor the last to have openly admitted making a mistake w his cards. I believe their is a thread where people openly admitted their Curry "mistakes/misfortunes". I was lucky enough to hold onto the nice Curry's i had, but many others got crushed by selling to soon and cost themselves hundreds if not THOUSANDS. It is what it is…
