The old-school allure of the iconic Donruss brand is gearing up for a new-season return to the hardwood in mid February bolstered by a product tailor-made for collectors of all ages. 2016 Donruss Basketball will feature a 250-card base set (200 veterans and 50 Rated Rookies), a throwback feel and captivating open photography that provides stunning action throughout.
Each hobby box of 2015-16 Donruss Basketball will deliver three autograph or memorabilia cards and at least nine sequentially numbered cards, including new parallels that highlight a player’s points, rebounds and assists per game.

I don't mind that. None of those products were really working so if they want to keep an insert from them and add to this I'm fine. Donruss football was a fun break.

Panini seems to do this at least once a year where they take an old set and make it a part of another and sometimes then bring back the set as stand-alone years later.

Exactly!! There is a small chance you will get a nice hit and recoup some funds and either way you can get pretty close to completing the base set and with a few singles or blasters you can have the whole set!
