What differentiates the Platinum parallels from the base cards besides the 1/1 stamp?

What differentiates the Platinum parallels from the base cards besides the 1/1 stamp?

The color of the foil print....its not silver....I could tell right away it wasn't silver or gold, then checked the back and it was 1/1.

Yeah, if you look at it solo, I think you might miss it. The foil looks light gray/tan almost.....what made me look twice was that it wasn't a solid silver or a solid gold.
