2015 Blowout's Awards

After reading several threads about all the negative stuff i think we could hold a symbolic Blowout forum Awards, to give some recognition to the members that spend time and contribute to this forum, pitching in with ideas on how to make this hobby better.

We could start it of by suggesting 20 categories then nominating 5 members minimum and 10 max per category. Then open a voting thread for each category.

I think it's kinda funny if you were to check my itrader or anyone else who has dealt with some of the best members on this forum, there are a ton of people missing from this thread. Some people like to stay low key and wouldn't want to be named, others are just not the guys who come in and post too often. But say like Guru, the guy has over 1800 itrader, shouldn't a guy like him be named in the most trustworthy category? There are a ton of guys who I have had flawless transactions with for several thousand dollar deals. Nobody has mentioned them. I don't know why.

I'm happy to see that guys like Hudda and Rabie and some of the guys who post cool stuff like WillC are getting int'l love so that's good but I think that a lot of people are being left out especially on best members, trustworthy, etc. I think the PC categories are pretty on point.

OP I also think I said in an early post that kobemagee should be up there for detective but don't see his name up there.

That being said, I don't think my detective skills have been good this year, so I am going to nominate whoever was the lead detective in the "Idol/Doddski" (maybe I got that wrong?) case this year. To me it looks like tonedef2oo8 had the best work done there, so I'm going to give him my vote for detective. If I'm wrong, feel free to tell me so I can adjust my nomination.

The most trusted members always need to worry the most :) Thats why I didn't vote for that one. Honestly that list I found really comical, and a few of them are on my watch list :)

But you're welcome. You are always the most courteous, even to a disagree I feel overbearing. Toeing eversoclose to sycophantry, but at the same time not at all, and simply agreeable and non argumental, and at the same time offering up advice, information and discourse. Nearly an impossible feat to pull off all of those things.

Thats why you got my vote for member of the year & most helpful. Again, I don't think any of the other nominees for either of those categories can pull off 2 of the most important factors in there which is the ability to be non argumental and overly helpful at the same time. Most fail hard at 1 and both at times, and you pull both off perfectly.

I'd like a description/summary about the collection/person and a group shot or select favourite images.
I don't want to knock what you're doing here, but the easiest and most immediate way for us to see is likely going to get better responses, and that's how I would do it.

easiest would definitely be to have a link to PC, and for ones that dont involve actual card pics just vote based off what you know about the members
