What do MMA card collectors collect?

I'm curious to what you guys are into.

What sets? What fighters? Rcs? Autos? Parallels? Etc....

The sports cards are still in their infancy and nothing is established so I thought of ask...

Myself I've started looking into the japanese cards of some of the older fighters. Either the 2006 pride Fc set or some K1 cards.

You'll get a bunch of answers. For me it's mainly just autos of favorite fighters. Got mostly out of mma cards though.

I prefer to collect the heavyweight fighters, retired hall-of-famers (Couture, Gracie, Hughes, etc), and the females fighters.

I like the Japanese sets too. Most of the names can't be found in the UFC sets.

just grabbed an rda auto for 5 bucks, werdum for 3, and a jon jones 2009 topps 1st auto. lots of good prices on great fighters.

Yeah those 1st autos have been calling my name lately to start a collection of them. Nice jones pick up. That's kne I've been eyeing recently.

I know what you mean. That's probably my number one complaint on some or most of the Ufc stuff.

I think I'd sure as heck buy a bunch more if some of the marquee cards (like the 1st autos) were nice on card autos. Just show that topps exerted some kind of effort you know?
