Question on slabbing/"Authenticating"

I have never submitted cards for grading, authenticating, etc. I picked up a few cards recently that I want stabbed for extra protection but not graded. I prefer BGS cases to PSA, so does BGS slab cards not graded? Like if it's a pack issued auto can it just be sent in for "authentication" so it'll be slabbed? Can anyone advise?

Yes. You can just authenticate.

Unfortunately, I'm on my phone so their website is a bit difficult to navigate. Have you yourself done it before? Are the fees the same as if grading? Do you submit for grading and just check an "authenticate only" box or something similar?
