My b-day is coming up and I have $200 to spend, should I go to a LCS and buy some singles or buy a box of Museum? I cant make my mind up, help me decide, lol!

Always singles. I hate getting lottery tickets for gifts. Get something you really want for your bday. Oh, and happy bday in advance.

I got one of these for myself on my birthday a couple years ago. Wasn't something I would typically spend money on and ended up getting it for decent price. Probably the best birthday present I've gotten in awhile:)

Do whatever you want to do. Singles are the best best because your guaranteed whatever it is your buying. But ripping wax is also very fun and you just never know. I know buying singles is the smart move but i wouldnt enjoy collecting half as much if i never ripped packs either.

If you've got the urge to rip, buy a few loose packs of whatever set you like. I'd take $150 of the $200 though and pick up either the cards you need to complete something or a really nice card that exactly fits your collection.

Thanks everyone, it's a hard decision because I love going to the LCS to buy something for the PC and on the other hand Museum is a very hot product full of huge hits. It seems like every box has a very nice card.

OP, I was in a similar situation and bought two boxes of 2015 museum. I did pull a nice card from each box but they weren't what I was "after"...Having seen so many huge pulls in group breaks I figured I'd nail one too. Point being, I usually buy singles or just a few hobby packs here and there, disappointed I didn't continue that trend. You can get some of the best cards out of Museum under $200 on eBay already.

That Auto on that Luck jersey is money!

OP, I enjoy opening a box on my Birthday or Christmas. The breaks on museum have looked very promising. Buy a box from Topps if your going to open one. Happy Birthday and take care!

Singles. Unless you really want to rip open some packs. In which case, spend $50 on some retail packs/boxes and the rest on a nice PC card.

Happy Birthday

Ive broken 4 boxes of museum. I had one really good box(well 1 really good hit-Jameis Winston triple patch auto /25) and 3 boxes that weren't that great at all.

So just be careful on that one!

But it is YOUR $$ to spend. If you're feeling a box of Museum, go for it! It'll be better than wondering what if!
