I purchased a few boxes of cards at a garage sale awhile back. I finally got around to looking through a few of them when I came across this. I don't know if there is a way to verify if it is authentic with the damage or not. I have always wanted to stumble across a huge card when sorting garage sale stuff but wishing it was in slightly better condition. Thanks for looking, Brandon.

When I first mentioned sending it in I was really just joking. Now I am considering trying to get it authenticated. It would be my first submission through PSA. How do I request authentication only?

In all seriousness, I think a collection of 1-10 with each half grade between would be the most amazing thing. Definitely a worth while venture. Would love to see someone try that.

I didn't even think of this, but you're right. It would indeed come back as altered. Duh! Haha.. Big time altered! Still, a BGS Authentic/Altered MJ rookie found at a garage sale isn't bad either.

I don't think I've ever seen a card authenticated or encapsulated in any way that was that rough, but if your able to I definitely would. Would they be able to authenticate it in that condition?

When we were in 8th grade....we had our hands on a stack of 86 Fleer....and the super white cornered cards got the scissors.....this was 1990. Ish happens....
