This year has sucked. I lost my father on January 19th and have been kind of just buying wax and singles trying to cope with the loss, particularly when we initially lost him. I miss the guy like crazy.

I really like many of the additions that I have made.

I did a Case of 12-13 Absolute the day of the burial also. It is a shame that the Russell auto is bubbly but I would rather have a splotchy red (/5) than a perfect regular one (/20).

Sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I lost my dad as well, back in 2007. Everyone processes that loss a little different so I'll just say that for me the pain never really goes away, but I did get better at coping over time. Not a day goes by that I don't think about my dad multiple times a day. I've just gotten better at processing the emotions. I hope the same for you. Keep your head up buddy.

As for the cards, DAMN that's a lot of nice stuff. The Antoine Atomic Refractor RC stands out to me, as well as the Russell auto and the Team Tandems patches.

Awesome stuff J. You have such a diverse collection I can't even keep track of it! I love the mix of Pre-Panini and Panini stuff. Compared to what is out today 12-13 Absolute was a true homerun. Congrats on the sweet additions.
