Melo for Blake or vice versa? Not a bash either player type thread. Rather, which guy would you prefer if you could swap one for the other and why…Could a trade like this even work between the two teams? Salary cap etc..:) On a side note, please Phil, don't trade for Dwight Howard. Thanks.

Not a fan of either player but I'll take Griffin between the two. More well-rounded than Melo.

I think it depends on the need. IMO, teams that have the win now mentality might be better off opting for Melo. He's older, but still a much better player offensively and having arguably his best year in terms of overall contributions and getting teammates involved. I know he gets a bad rap but he's having a very solid year so far.

Blake has had the fortune of playing for a very talented roster and a top 3 PG for a great majority of his career, but yet it's still yet to be seen if he is able to take a team to that next level. Heck, the Clippers have been playing better than ever since he's been sidelined and CP3 became the centerpiece of the offense.

Blake by a lot. Melo is talented, but his game just doesn't translate to wins. Though if he had a coach that told him to move the ball and shoot less who knows. He was on some really underrated good Nuggets teams that couldn't go anywhere because of his playstyle. Just not a true superstar.
