With Topps dumping a bunch of products next week, which are you looking forward to? I think Diamond looks the best and I'm going to try Strata.

Whatever I can find with Marcus Peters in it.

I actually really like the look of Field Access, just too bad it's a sticker dump. I think Definitive looks loads better than Diamond

Only topps would release their final 5 products in a week and have no checklists available.

None of them. Topps looks to be using this as a chance to get rid of all their stickers and other memorabilia.

Side note, I thought you were kidding that all of them come out before the end of the month. Low-and-behold, they are. Talk about flooding the market, wowza!

FWIW I don't think Diamond or Definitive will have sticker autos. They are of course the high end releases.

The only one I like, Diamond is $250 a box which I can't afford.

Field access is THE sticker dump product. I kinda like Diamond but most Topps high ends have horrible resale value.

Wow, that's annoyingly overwhelming. Especially with Panini pumping out their high end stuff with little room to breath over the next month or so as well.

I'm planning on buying some of the HOF singles from the oft-delayed Topps Strata...the Staubach on the sell sheet looked sweet....

Topps just tweeted this

@toppscards
Supreme Football will release on February 29 and Diamond Football will come out on March 31

Definitive replaced Five Star

It was hard to think they would actually go through with all of them coming out so close unless there was a deadline set for losing the licence.

Topps diamond and definitive will be ridiculously good.

Definitive Collection will have some of the most stunning cards Topps has ever released. Of course, a crappy looking NT yearly retread will still sell for more because people are dumb.

I'd love to see them go out like how UD did with 2009 Ultimate Baseball. That was an EPIC product.

That was my assumption too. The only reason to release 5 in a week is because the license will expire at the end of Feb and they have to hurry. But if Diamond can now be released in March, why can't they release Strata and Definitive this week. Supreme next week. Field Access in mid-March and Diamond on 3/31. No clue what Topps is thinking or if they think at all.

I have been hearing from multiple sources (although nothing concrete) that definitive will be unlike anything ever seen before. Maybe its sales people spreading these rumors. Lol.

If this year's Chrome is any indication, something tells me that Topps is more likely to go out on a whimper than a bang.

Personally I wouldnt plunk down any money on either Definitive or Diamond without first seeing a case or two being opened first. Sell sheets get people salivating, that's the whole point to them, they work by hyping up a product pre-release. The cards may be nice, but I also don't expect these to be as loaded as Museum was. Actually the resell values on Museum singles took a hit too, when it seems like every few boxes yielded a Mariota or Winston, the market gets saturated. You can get a Winston auto out of Museum for about $50-$60.

Only one I will probably end up buying is Strata. Like the look and pretty cheap for an all-hits product.

Will go for singles I like from the other stuff.

That will be a good thing.

I'm taking a shot on a Strata case. It's a bit of a gut call, but as long as collation is solid you've got a good chance of hitting a couple of the big names when there's 24 autos in a case.

The one with the most scrubs in it as I am PCing a Scrub Defensive guy this year with few cards.

None. It wouldn't surprise me if they pumped out as much product as 1987 topps baseball.

Maybe I'm just a peasant, but the design on the mockups didn't seem all that special imo. It looked like a 2012 Playbook and 2014 Museum hybrid.

I don't like the fact that the sell sheet states that you might be getting up to 4 rookie hits per box. That's fine if those rookies are mostly the big four, but not so much if it's not them. At $650 a box we better see some INSANE cards coming out of each and every box.

Well, they just published the Strata checklist, and it is beyond pathetic, especially given that the product has been delayed for two months....only retired players are Staubach, Bo Jackson, and Roger Craig.

Hope you do well... pretty gutsy though considering off season prices are usually bad, The flood of museum Winston and Mariota autos has them selling at $60 a piece and that is a higher end product, Strata doesnt hold value well 2012 Lucks sell for $200 and he's extremely short printed not to mention the best card you can pull out of 13 Strata is a Santa Clause auto. This is a product I'd buy singles on all day at a much cheaper price. Case Prices on Blowout are $719 ... I'm pretty sure you could make the set of clear cut autos for that price.

It's not a long term investment. Probably going to rip and flip. If someone posts a case break that's insane at release (kinda like what happened with Museum) I may just put single boxes up on eBay.
