What is your opinion on Brady signing autos for Leaf?

I just put those in a different category. To me they don't even exist and don't affect my view of Brady autos in the market. It's like ichiro leaf autos or classic Shaq/barry bonds autos or derek jeter rookie signature autos. If they're not licensed then meh. They don't exist in my collecting world.

I think it's a solid business move by BG. It won't alter my buying habits personally, but he's certainly augmenting the value of his product by including Brady. The CEO of Leaf is a member of the forum and has been engaging with other members, most notably in the Baseball section. He knows my hobby sway is heavy in the streets, so I'll get 2 cases for this post.

I think its an awesome move and will look to add a Leaf Brady auto to my collection. Plus whatever product its in I would "like" to try a box or two.

B.G. is running a card company... Leaf is not just a repack product producer. They have had my respect in this hobby for a long time and this move solidifies that stance. I get that they are not for everyone but I am happy with what they have brought to the card collecting table.

Normally I do but not a big fan of the no logo thing. Just grabbed the plates because they were cheap and unique. I will cave on NT and Flawless though.

I like it and hope they can get more vet players honestly. I like the look of some of their products over a lot of Panini and with Topps going away it maybe what I replace my Topps with. I like some of the inscriptions they get and the early variations of auto's before the player signed a million stickers and changed it up to a quick signature. On card for the most part.

A question I have maybe you guys can answer? Does Leaf have the rights to the old Leaf designs? I haven't followed much of the new Leaf since coming back to collecting in 2013 but did buy some 2014.

Thought it would be fun to see where these guys are in a few years :)

If Brady Signs for leaf hey no biggie...but it's if he continues to do so over and over and over and then the Brady Set comes out much like the Pete Rose set and Brady autos plummet.. it's happend to quite a few good athletes. Granted his Contenders and most sought after cards won't take a hit but everything else might.

Good example Hulk Hogan.. he went from having a WCW Auto and a WWE Heritage auto to having UD, Leaf, TNA, etc autos in the matter of a 5 year span. His cards in that span went from $200+ an auto to $30 bucks a pop.

Brady may not ever see that level of mass production but with 32 Panini sets out next year and now Leaf you never know.

Leaf wishes!

Brady isn't cheap. These will be extremely limited and a hard pull. Its more of a marketing ploy than anything. A lottery saying you might pull a Brady but 99% of the boxes will be Brady-less. Its a great way to move product, I'll give them that.

With a handful of them made and spread out over a few sets it wont even be a ripple in the hobby.
