Hi y'all, here's the story...

Guy on Ebay bought this card, paid after a couple of days and now is claiming a refund on Paypal so I'm down almost $300 on PP...

This is the card...

2013 14 Panini Flawless All Star Achievements Allen Iverson Red Auto 07 15 | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/331786262863?ssPageName=STRK:MESOX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1561.l2649)

Sad thing is: it was first sold to someone else on Ebay, and he didn't even pay so got Ebay fees and now this!!!

He's from Singapore and I've sent the card to his Comc mailbox... He openend a case on Ebay saying he didn't receive the card so I instantly checked the track and trace from the card and it was delivered 4 days ago!!!!

So now, how can I fix this problem? Call to Comc to ask if they received the card or not? Don't really know what to do else... When he paid, he added a message asking if I didn't add any extra cards because Comc would charge more then for him... Since he opened a case on Ebay, I updated the tracking, sent him 2 messages but no more response...

I was saving up for a big card, so this is setting me back for like $300 AND my card is "gone"...

Any help will be so much appreciated as I've been sending cards overseas for many years now and NEVER had any problems...

Please help me out here!!!

Thx everyone!!!!

Not sure about what to do but tracking should be sufficient. As for your initial sale, you get the final value fee back after closing the unpaid item case.

I thought sending to COMC voided the chargeback possibility?

Also, why didn't you file a claim through ebay so you wouldn't have to eat the fees the first time around?

To be honest, never had to make a claim through Ebay and didn't even know that was possible if seller didn't pay... Like I said, had very little problems over all those years so never really had to deal with this circumstances... Although I've red a lot about it on here before...

Sorry to hear that, must be frustrating.
I think the best way to go is open a claim through PayPal since the tracking number shows that it was delivered 4 days ago.

Please disclose the buyers username so we can BLOCK him.

Thx for the info... How do I make a claim on PP? Can I put the claim on the transaction showing on PP itself?

He should message comc as well. I've had cards delivered there that haven't been added to my account until I've sent them an email.

You should definitely do this. Had a low end card shipped to COMC in January and it hadn't shown up in my account by the start of April. Emailed them and it showed as being delivered to them in Jan but they couldn't find it. 2 days later it appears in my account.

Also had a very high end card shipped to them and it took 3 weeks for the card to show in my account from the day it was delivered.

damn. Hope you guys get your $$ back. I stopped selling things to china. The only way I do a transaction for a buyer from china is if they have someone meet me in person for a cash exchange.

eBay global shipping for the win. Once it leaves shipping center in US, it's out of your hands. I will never go back shipping without it. I will work with a regular buyer to help them in cost if they ask and seem sincere. I know it's not really fair to the buyer, but it's not real fair on high ticket items for the seller internationally.

It saved me over 3k last year in sales on claims internationally, granted one sale was 1200 of it. But I won every single claim with PayPal once they saw I used global shipping and it left there. Money was released immediately.

BEWARE ...This user is at it again. Trying to do sales outside of eBay and trying to scam me on some high end. Luckily this thread exists and I was able to do some research on the account. Definitely do not give this guy your PP info or sell to him thru eBay...

I don't think you should worry. Try calling Paypal and explain your case. Once they see that the card has been delivered (they'll ask for the case # on eBay and all the information will be accessible by them) they'll put the hold of the $300 free from your account and you should have it back.

SG customers open a case via Paypal because they say eBay.SG doesn't allow them to open a case on eBay so it should be done via Paypal. I've encountered this already and it shouldn't be a problem. I would rather call Paypal via Skype and have this done right away instead of responding on their resolution center.

yeah, I stopped shipping overseas. Sellers have absolutely no rights when it comes to ebay. I could buy a 20k card right now, say the package delivered empty and get all my money back. crazy.

I have zero experience shipping outside of the US and Canada. That's why if I ever sell something on eBay, I click the Global Shipping Program. I feel like that adds a layer of protection. If someone wants something bad enough then pay the correct import charges and other fees. I'm not putting myself at risk like that since I will admit, I'm a novice shipper.

"Brobo, why ever sell outside of the US then?" Funny you say that. I used to only ship inside the US but somehow people from countries like Russia would buy my card and expect me to ship to Russia for free. Yeah, that's not happening. What's weak is that even though I would specifically state I only ship to the US, I heard from people here that they could still leave negative feedback that would stick to my account, because let's face it, eBay has bigger fish to fry than my little account. Freaked me out how bent the system sometimes is.

Long story short, eBay can and is a scary place. I feel like more regulation should be applied to eBay but, like eBay, the government has better things to do.

Ugggh...he purchased the card after I told him I didn't want to do business with him. eBay user dhy0315dhy. And COMC is dhy1986. His shipping address is listed as COMC HQ...anyone have experience with this guy? Don't know whether to cancel order or go thru with him?

Honestly if you have the tracking you have nothing to worry about just give it to PayPal. Also call Paypal and explain to then the evidence you have that he has it. PayPal is nothing like eBay they are very seller friendly in my experience. They are fed up with scammers.

I just had a $500 chargeback filed on me last month and was able to give tracking and it was not a big deal. They do take awhile to close sometimes
