Anyone having trouble w/their eBay bucks not fully applying to purchases??

Hey guys,

Just wanted to see if anyone else has had any issues recently with their eBay bucks not fully applying to purchases??

I have $38+ in eBay bucks & attempted to use some of that for a $26 purchase, but it kept only wanting to apply $10.33 no matter how many times I tried to do it...

Yeah that's the crazy thing, Ive only been doing it on the computer, never tried it on an app...the other night when I used some of it, it showed a -$2.00 balance before I processed the payment lol...no clue why it's happening...

Just tried it for the millionth time & it states I have $38 available in eBay bucks & the purchase amount of what Im trying to buy is only $26, but keeps only trying to apply $10.33 to the total when I clearly have plenty to cover it???

Any ideas what might be wrong???

I'm not trying to be a smart ass but if you call eBay on the phone you will get much better customer support than here. They probably could have solved this issue 4 days ago :o

Didnt take it that way at all, but yeah did call them prior to this thread & all they said was "it's a known issue site wide & check back on it in a few days..."

Gotcha, well if you have a smart phone I would try the app or you can just log into the mobile site and try. I had no issues with my ebay bucks at all.

Did you try logging out and back in?? (prob a long shot but worth a try)

Actually tried that too, didnt work either lol

I think Im down to like $25 now in eBay bucks & when I try to buy a $20 item for example, it only tries to apply $1.68 instead of just covering the full $20 & leaving me with $5 or so left....

Next thing I would have suggested is to clear your cache on the computer clean up your history and such but if you've tried on your computer plus your phone and all the same result seems like your hands are tied until ebay fixes this.

I would call back again and make sure they open a ticket for your issue, before the coupon expires and you completely lose the ability to use it.

Yeah tried to too actually as I always clear my cache a few times per day. I gave it a day or two & tried to apply them again today, it was a purchase of about $19 or so & have plenty to cover, & still trying to only let me apply $1.68 instead of just covering it full with what I have available...getting really nerve racking at this point...

I had a situation where my card in my Paypal wallet expired and I had to pay by e-check plus eBay bucks, my e-check cleared but my eBay bucks are still in limbo. Thankfully all of the folks I bought from are understanding, but this is annoying.
