I live in Ohio and I am NOT a Buckeye fan! But I am curious as to who people like. Post your all time favorite Buckeye player. I am just curious and thought it may be fun.

My best friend is a UM grad so he'd probably scream at this question. A die hard Seahawks fan and didn't even root for Joey Galloway. Me? I'd say Cris Carter.

As far as former Colts go, Mike Doss is up there. Guy was a solid tackler.

Non Colts - Orlando Pace. Easily, one of the best OT's of my generation. Close second would be Shawn Springs.

To name a few: Mike Doss, Eddie George and Braxton Miller. I loved Donnie Nickey as I knew him for personal reasons. I've also heard stories about what Jack Tatum was like but never even saw him play unfortunately !

Can my list be like 20 guys? It's so hard to pick when the turnover is so quick in College and you realize the last guy you saw, that you thought was amazing, and you ignore the guys that are older.

You watch highlights of Teddy Ginn, and how absolutely insane he was in College, and you realize Joey Galloway and Terry Glenn were doing it first.

Zeke? Beanie Wells, Robert Smith, Eddie George, Maurice Clarett...

I could do that with every position naming the players I loved watching.

It's hard because you can't ignore the Pros even if you try. Someone like Beanie Wells will be penalized for that... and if you watch college highlights? Holy crap was he a monster

Keith Byars. Loved that guy.

He got absolutely screwed by not winning the Heisman in 1984. Doug Flutie wasn't even the best QB that year.

Kurt Coleman, because I enjoyed yelling at him through the TV during his Eagle days. He also gave Trent Richardson his only NFL highlight when he got trucked.

But seriously, as much as I hate OSU, Malcolm Jenkins since he has come to the Eagles. Guy has been great for us on and off the field. Great leader out there as well.

Mike Vrabel is my favorite. Loved watching him play and was heartbroken when the Steelers drafted him.

Eddie George is my #2 with Hop-A-Long Cassidy as my #3. I met Cassidy when I was a teenager and enjoyed talking to him. Down to earth and a really nice guy. Still the only Heisman winner I have met.

I love how multiple Heisman Trophy winners haven't even been mentioned.

Plus guys that were #1 picks, like Dan Wilkinson, don't even get a thought

The group of guys, that were dominant college players (regardless of the Pros), is ridiculously deep

Chris Spielman, easily for what he did on the field and what he is doing off the field with his wife's cancer foundation.

I hate tOSU but have a lot of respect for Spielman who played his heart out for a crappy Lions franchise. He also manages to dial down the homerism to a degree as an announcer, much better than Herbie, who always talks crap but never beat Michigan on the field (0-3-1).

As a Michigan man I respected the heck out of Chris Spielman ! I can't remember the other linebacker who was before Spielman and that player was a tackling MACHINE. Outside of the collision that took place in the 97 game between a Penn State TE and the Michigan Wolverine Safety, two of the ugliest collisions were when Willis M. was knee capped by a Buckeye and in a Bowl game roughly a decade ago, a cornerback from OSU just obliterated a wide receiver on a quick screen pass.

I can't believe that Archie Griffin hasn't been brought up since he is the only 2-time Heisman Trophy winner and a 4-time conference champion. He is also the only 4 time starter in the Rose Bowl.

I guess the kids around here have no knowledge of their teams history...........

Gotta remember a lot of people in this forum never saw Archie play. I would bet 90% of this forum was born after 1980.

Also as the biggest hater of OSU im going to say they all stink. However you can't deny Eddie George or CC

He was very underrated as a pro. A complete cb who played bigger than his size would indicate.
