I have been doing a little research on top loaders.

What do you prefer for your standard cards?

BCW standard
BCW premium

Ultra Pro standard
Ultra Pro premium

I have ordered 100 of each, so I can see the difference in person, they're on their way.

One gripe that I've heard of BCW is that they yellow at a certain age? Is this true from your experience?
One thing I've heard of Ultra Pro is that they're NOT acid free, does this make a difference because of the cards are in a sleeve?

I have always used BCW standard, but I've read quite a bit of people prefer Ultra Pro premium.

Do you have a preference? If so why?

Thank you!

I am a big fan of Ultra Pro, both for One touches and other holders. Their Penny Sleeves don't age like BCW's do either. I have had several low dollar cards in BCW penny sleeves from several years ago have the sleeves crumble and dry up while they were inside of a box. I've never had issues with Ultra Pro beyond their One touches not fitting 2010 NT RPA's (even when the 100 and 120 point variety, they're snug on the edges, pro mold for that one).

pretty much always been ultra pro for everything, penny's, top's, mag's. Use their supplies they make for comics as well

Ultra Pro for every thing. They seem to fit better - especially the penny sleeves.

BCW for storage boxes

Ultra pro for top loaders, sleeves, etc.

I recently bought some BCW penny sleeves, and i was a bit disappointed in all honesty. They're clearly not the same quality as Ultra Pro IMO.

Is there a big difference between Ultra Pro standard toploaders and the Ultra Pro Premium?

Thank you guys!

Premium use a stronger, more rigid plastic. I like to use them for cards that are prone to warping or have already warped. I prefer standard for most cards.
