I was browsing through a local pawn shop that I go to usually about once every month or so (he usually gives me pretty good deals on any sports cards he comes across). He didn't have anything new, but I though while I there I'd check on a ball he had in a display case.
It was signed by several players, but the only two I could tell right off the bat were of Satchel Paige and Monte Irvin. I'd seen Irvin's auto before, and I thought it looked good. The ball it's self looks like one from the era too. I went home and examined a few certified autos of Paige, and I am reasonably sure it is good too. I of course would send it in to PSA to get certified, but that's where the question comes in. What do you think is a reasonable gamble on it? It looks like it will cost about $100 for the PSA/DNA certification. I was thinking maybe offering around $200 (the owner was out and the worker wasn't sure how much the guy wanted). Would getting it certified make it around a $500-600 ball with Irvin and Paige? I've tried looking up a few balls online, but most of the prices are all over the place. Any ideas?

I would need to see some pics of the ball to give an opinion.
