Default Huge Cards that are now are worthless

I started a identical thread in the baseball section, and thought I'd start one here as well.

I love to collect weird stuff, and one of the things that I PC is cards that in their hayday were massive, and the card to have, but no are pennies on the dollar.

What cards do you remember as being HUGE back when they came out, but now are just a few bucks.

Show me your Vince Young, Reggie Bush, Jamarcus Russell, Matt Leinart, etc

Anything that was Johnny Manziel. Laughed so hard few years back when people were going nuts paying huge dollars for his junk when I think most people new this guy was going to flop.

I was hoping to pick up a few cheap Tebow cards but his stuff is still selling pretty well for a guy that's not even in the league anymore

I had a 2006 exquisite peyton, Favre, Vince Young, and Leinart quad up until a few months ago. Far from worthless now (I got $200 for it) but quite a drop from what it was in 2006 lol

Michael Vick RC SPA's used to sell for an absolute crap-ton but now the prices have dropped significantly.

Anything with Joey Harrington, David Carr, Manziel, Leinart, Jamarcus Russell, Ryan Leaf, Brady Quinn, etc..

Still remember pulling a Mark Sanchez RC auto from 09 Contenders and selling it for $225 almost immediately after I put it on eBay. That card can be had for what... $5 now?

1999 was really the year I started collecting football, so picking up all of the rookies from SPx and Contenders has been really fun lately. I even busted a few boxes of SPx and pulled the Ricky Williams /500. However, most of them are virtually worthless now. Value or not, it's still really cool to have them.

2006 was a brutal year for the top picks - Vince Young, Matt Leinart, LenDale White, Reggie Bush - All were expensive, but Bush's cards were insane

Except he still sells... at a loss... but decent money. He's Tebow.

His Contenders still sells in double digits. Thats something.

Reggie Bush cards were nuts at one point.

Edit:: see you already mentioned him.

I'll go with RG3 next.

I'm so glad I was not collecting from 2012-2014. I would have lost soooooooooooooo much money on RG3.

Oh damn, haha. That's really fun to look at though. I still pick up RG3's when I get a chance for a decent price. He was my favorite Redskin in my lifetime. Sad how quick that dissipated.

1996 Finest Gold Keyshawn Johnson Refractors used to fetch $200-$250. The Bronze version would get $40 all day.

Reggie Bush was the big one to me, as his auto rc's were insane. Many of those cards were $1000+. I remember buying a blaster of Topps Chrome at Walmart and hitting a base Bush Refractor Rc, and selling it immediately for $150.
