Crazy good performance from Tatum, historic triple double with 9 threes! Even more impressive how he attacked the rim, feels like he is unstoppable and should do it more especially when the 3s don’t go.

I don't know if it's a championship hangover or what it is. All I know is they seem to be playing soft. The defense is not there so far this year.


The injuries aren't helping either.

I'd love to see them pick up a physical big man, but I don't know if they can cap wise.

Tatum been playing great, especially in the last lost. Philadelphia had great end of the game, Caleb hitting 3 or 4 threes in a row, just like he did when he was playing for heat in conference finals, he seems to have those sparks against Celtics.

4 games behind Cleveland for the 1 seed. Knicks are quietly sneaking up.

I was impressed with how the Pacers played last year. They shared the ball and were constantly moving. I haven't really followed them this year. I hope the Celtics start playing better as I have money on them having the best record going into All Star weekend.

White has been a little cold in some recent games. So has Pritchard. Brown has had some bad turnovers. Also no Hauser who I think helps space the floor well. The Celtics aren't going to win without their bench playing halfway decent. Injuries are definitely part of it.

I primarily watch them to see Pritchard play. He hasn't taken as many shots lately. He was 0-8 last game on 3 pointers (2 were long buzzer beaters). I think he shoots better when they have a more consistent game schedule and the holidays/play-in tournament disrupted that. There was also a stretch (started during Bucks game) where he wasn't getting a lot of shots off because the starters were deciding to take a contested shot vs kick it to the open man. When that happens and he is just standing in the corner and doing cardio every possession change, he will sometimes try to create his own shots for better or for worse.

Celtics are best when the ball is hopping and they trust whoever is open to take the open shot. If they get into ISO ball and don't defend well, there are several teams that will put up a good fight against them. Plus being the defending champs they are getting everybody's best.

Here is a shot of some of my nicer Pritchard cards. I've been trying to scoop up 1 of all his gold /10 cards. I have his Gold Optic Holo and Spectra Gold on the way. Also I try to pick up any flawless RPA that comes up for sale as that is his only RC with a real game used patch. If you tally the colors (25x silver, 15x red, 10x gold, 5x green, 3x 1/1 variations), there are only 58 true RPA cards of him.

I like the green horizontal flawless patch. Missed out on one of Nesmith the other day. I have the black 1/1 flux Incoming (hit in a break) if interested. Probably one of the more amazing looking rookie inserts in hand. The lime green select auto doesn't look bad also. Is that rare?

Pacers were on a back to back, after an OKC game that went down to the wire and Nembhard captained.

Nembhard and grudge Nesmith were missing.

Game meant nothing, as far as Boston being back.

With the way Cleveland is playing this year, the Celtics may wind up with the 2 seed. 4.5 games seems insurmountable. The Knicks are creeping up as well, though I'm not worried about them in a playoff series.
