hell, even if at 60-70 bucks a pack, is hard not to sell ...... and pick up whoever you want after

It will be interesting to see these prices progress over the coming months and years.

With a guaranteed two rookies per pack, and a pretty stellar checklist if you enjoy the top cards in the year’s flagship products, the price would have to get high before much of a downside can exist.

It will be fun when set collectors start chasing this product. With a small checklist of just 100 base cards, and they come from the top cards of S1, S2, and Update each year, it’s far from overwhelming, and will make for a great collection.

I only ordered 2 packs...funds were slim when the announcement came out! Arriving Monday, have to decide what to do with them!!!

you bring up a good point. with a smaller checklist, and production as much as doubled, it should be easy to land most players anyone would want

Only clearifying your post in case some new collectors don’t recognize the difference...

Last year’s “packs” are selling for $150. The “set” commands a lot more, if you can find them.

Edit: The only 2018 set I currently see offered on eBay is listed for over $2,000.

I would be thrilled if the prices drop so I can pick up 1 or to master sets. But I doubt it.

This is a nice and tidy 120-card master set. You don't have to hunt down chase cards, parallels, autos, etc...

The set features most/all the top rookies and star players from S1/S2/Update and it's unique that it's 3D.

If there is 1 master set I could focus on each year, it would be this one. Hands down.

Looks like my order for ten "3D" sets is finally showing a status of "Complete" and my ETA is Oct. 30th.

My tracking on Friday and over the weekend stated estimated arrival date as 30th Oct (Wed), but now shows they have already arrived!
Can't wait to get home and open my 20 packs.
Hopefully I can complete a set.

My two boxes arrived today as well!

I don't think I'll have time to get to them, but I'm going to try. :)

15 of my 40 came in today. I was going to sell the packs but had to open at least 1. Pulled a Vlad in the first pack and said F it, these look amazing, let's just open all 15...

Also pulled 2 Biggio and 2 Chavis RCs, then 1 of each McNeil, Brendan Rodgers, and a handful of other guys. No Mike Trout base but I can live without that for now.

I feel like that's about as well as I could have done. Now it's time to figure out what to do with the other 25 packs.
