Sharp cards! Contenders BGS 9.5 $20k BIN got popped 11 days ago. I'd put the PSA 10 Contenders $40k+ right now, with massive upside if they win the Super Bowl. Incredibly low POP for a marquee card.

No offense to the Rodgers Superfans ( I am a fan myself) but he doesn't seem to have a whole lot of great cards. I know his RCs are from 2005 which is a different era but Brady has a ton of good ones and he was 5 years earlier.

I have been looking to pick up a card or two and most don't appeal to me. Vast majority of autographs are on sticker which I usually don't mind.

Which ones of Bradys are so great? I think Brady has some of the shittiest RCs out there. Short of Black Diamond there isn't one I like that Rodgers doesn't have.

Also most of the good ones never come up for sale anymore, probably locked in PCs.

Also just got a great comp on my 2012 prizm greens as a raw just ended at around 600. I'm sending mine to PSA and will be shocked if they both don't gem as they are some of the cleanest cards in my collection/that I ever inspected

The ex Brady is a really nice card, along with leaf limited and showcase just to name a few.

People just like to pissandmoan about everything. The donruss clsssics is nice for Rodgers, playoff honors is nice, leaf limited is nice, leaf longevity is nice, among others.

It's true that there's not much to choose from when looking for key rookies in the 2000's. However, like mattroberson said, Brady does not have a ton of good ones either. Other than his Contenders, the only one that I'd even consider purchasing would be his Bowman Chrome refractor. All of his other cards are trash, in my opinion. To be fair, though, most of Rodgers' RC are trash too.

His Rookie Ticket would be amazing if it was on card.

Agreed that its hard to say given the unknown of these next two games... there hasn't been a PSA 10 auction sale on eBay in a little bit to best gauge this market's current hot streak... the last one that went at auction (that I could find...) was on Heritage Auctions about a month and half ago, went for $25.2K (the auto on it was a bit better than average, but similar to most on this card, had some minor issues). Definitely limited spotlights and R&S longevity’s. Would add in Topps heritage rainbow holofoil as well. Absolute spectrum...all nice parallels without even taking about chrome.

I would agree that most of his mainstream cards are not appealing -- yellow shorts and red jersey kind of ruin most of them. The ones mentioned above by a few of you are nice though - Playoff Honors, Leaf R&S, Turkey Red, etc. Wish there were more in the Packers jersey.

I posted in the B/S/T forum a few times, but if anyone has a Rodgers RC in nice raw condition, or perhaps a PSA/BGS/SGC 8.5-9, IN THE PACKERS JERSEY, I would be interested in taking a look. Was close to grabbing a Playoff Honors a couple times on the bay, but just missed.

Yeah, but at the end of the day the Packers don't have a complete team. You can try to disguise it for a while, but it will be exposed eventually. The Packers' organization needs to do better. I'll be waiting a month or two and hopefully fill some holes in my Rodgers collection and save a few thousand. With this market, though, who knows. Maybe prices never come down.

Want to blame the officiating, but really, it came down to the calls. No confidence.
