Now Holmes has to hold them and hope Wells, Volpe and Soto can do something.
Why not take a pitch, Volpe?
They truly suck.
4-12 since their high water mark of 50-22 effing ridiculous.
Feels just like 2022 - bust out, on pace for 114 wins, then start sucking.
Was a helluva at bat by Wells. Maybe he should be getting more ABs since he can actually throw the ball 2nd.

That team went to the ALCS, no way this team does. |

The offense stinks outside of Soto and Judge. And their impact gets neutered by having Volpe lead off. Up and down the lineup it’s bad contact after bad contact. |

Agreed, being cheap and signing players that the bottom feeders in the league DFA is proving to not be such a good strategy. |
Gleyber needs to catch that ball
This team is absolutely due. Benson makes that catch once a year.
Cashman, the ship be sinkin'.
Boone needs to take notes, Montas gave up a leadoff double in the 6th and the Reds got him the hell out of there before he gave up a big inning. Boone would’ve left him in for at least 2 more batters. It might not work out for the Reds in the long run but it’s a better strategy than letting the game get out of hand.
Verdugo you piece of shizz another wasted opportunity and Volpe still costing the team runs.
Getting swept by the Reds but don’t worry Boone’s press conference will sugarcoat it and make it seem like this team isn’t in trouble. 4-13 and no end in sight to the suckiness. As long as the other team has a pulse the Yankees will continue to lose. None of the starters are giving them any length before they fall behind. My fandom is waning right now and if they don’t start looking any better soon I just won’t watch.

Time to talk about our next manager to save the season. Showalter? Girardi?
Nice pitching change. Hill gets the second out on a soft liner but let’s take him out. A walk to Steer and a bases clearing triple off of Cousins and now it’s an 8-2 deficit. My only hope is they keep looking like garbage and their only recourse is to get rid of Cashman and Boone. There has to be a better way than this. And trust me by going into other Yankees forums I am not the only one who feels this way.

Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
The idea that we have good players that just need to perform better isn't working. Maybe try something different? |

Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
Their pitching was pitching over their heads earlier but now it seems nobody wants to step up and turn the tide. No Boone has to go, they say a team takes on the personality of its manager and Boone has never showed any urgency to change. He puts a positive or tries to put a positive spin on what’s going on right now. What’s the solution to making things more positive perhaps not throwing away games that you could’ve won but mismanaged in leading your team on a 4-13 tailspin. Enough is enough I am sure another manager and gm couldn’t do any worse. |
8-4 final and the Red Sox coming to town. They could find themselves in 3rd in the division a lot sooner than we thought they would.

Unbiased opinion here. Besides the big two that lineup is second division.

I didn't know |
If Cole continues like his last start, Rodon pitches like he did earlier in the season, and Schmidt comes back hope is not lost for the playoffs.
