Fowler is doing work.

Fowler 2-2. Thanks for staying away from Baltimore.
By humiliating them a round earlier??? Another comment that makes no sense.
I'd rather lose in the LCS than in the World Series. |
Who cares. It's the first game. No one in their right mind would even bring that up in the first inning.. Stop it with your crybaby attitude and negative hyper critical comments!
Please. Other people want to actually enjoy this thread and you make it so others cant do so.
Hey, if you're watching the game, you'll see Richards is doing a tremendous job getting ahead in the count. |

Totally makes sense that you would. |

Personally, for me, the closer to victory, the more heartbreaking upon falling short. |

Well yes I know it's personally and for you because, well you said it and I can figure out basic things like that. It's also sad that you'd rather not get to the WS. losers mentality. Back on topic. Heyward in 2 spot and Zobrist in 3 spot seems stupid to me. |

Cool. Good for him. Doesn't mean I'm going to crucify and be hyper critical about strikeouts an inning into the season.. You really are clueless. Just settle down so people can actually enjoy this thread.. Or if not. Please create your own thread "SAFs Cubs Season Long Analysis" so you can talk to yourself and be as critical as you want in it. |

I guess the lineup will be tweaked with throughout the year. |

I am a Cubs fan from NY and yes I was in the thread last year but SAF drives me away.. Lol |
+1 on that 2/3 ordering. Or at least Zobrist at 3. Rather see him at 6, personally, behind Bryant/Rizzo/Schwarber.
Feels like we have 3 leadoff hitters. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet.
Seems like a waste having 3 better hitters at 4/5/6. You all know I'm not a Cubs fan but this lineup is insane and I think this is probably the least efficient lineup they can have. Fowler Russell Rizzo Bryant Schwarber Hayward Zobrist Montero Seems like you'd generate a lot more. |

Cubs would've been humiliated had they won the pennant. The Mets have the better staff and the better closer and still lost in five, and two of those blown saves weren't even Familia's fault. The Met defense made errors and I must say the Cubs didn't have the greatest gloves in October themselves. |
Zorilla doubles him off. Great play.

Like I said, instead they were humiliated in the NLCS. |
That was an awesome way to turn two.

If they'd have lost that World Series, it'd have taken me much longer to get over. |
Glad I got my new plates for this year!
