Thanks Aaron throwing that mvp out the window.
|
Cheap as crap but I will take it. 7-6 final and yes I will continue to watch Yankee games in my back room.
|
Ugly.

Winning ugly is better than losing ugly.

3 Ks. and all in at bats where his team needed him. He can kiss the MVP goodbye. |
This team looks like the sucky team we saw at the very beginning of the season. They should be steamrolling these loser teams like we did during the good times. Instead they lost 1 to the Pirates, lost 1 so far to the Reds and should have lost this game if it wasn't for the Reds giving us the game on errors.
It's going to be a sad second half unless these guys get out of their funk and Cashman brings in some help. :( |
The Yankees released Greg Bird from his minor league contract yesterday. :flex:
|
I have a feeling we'll lost tonight with Castillo on the mound for the Reds. He's already good and this will be his trade highlight game.
|
With the rotation faltering and getting banged up, the All-Star break couldn't have come at a better time.
|
Tyler Wade back in pinstripes. Great...
|
Bmann33 won the contest last night pm my your address and a few of your favorite players and I will get something out to you. Thanks to everyone who entered.

Really I knew holding his rookie cards and a big league autograph numbered to 25 couldn’t hurt tell me they traded Gallo for him. ;););) |

They haven't said what the Yanks are sending over. Wade is going straight to AAA so no one on the big league roster. |
I've been saying now we need pitching depth and we need it fast.
Cortes/Taillon have been fading a bit lately, and with Severino walking off hurt we could really be in trouble. I would imagine if he is close to healthy German will get the first shot at the rotation spot if Sevy misses time. But we need arms, it's a long season and pitchers just don't last like they used to. |

Too bad, they probably could have offered him to the Reds for Castillo and the Reds would have taken it. |

Better or worse than Marwin Gonzalez? |
No Benitendi cuz the jackhole isn't vaccinated lol
Although probably just means the price is too high I mean are they really concerned about the Jays? They are happy putting on their HR jacket and laughing it up down 10 runs Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk |
Better or worse than Marwin Gonzalez?
Insurance I guess. Although looking at it glass full maybe when they give Gallo away Wade takes his spot.

Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
That's obviously the plan because the Yankees absolutely would prefer Tyler Wade over giving Andujar/Florial any at-bats  |
Tonight’s game is big, we will get to see 2 things whether Cortes can go back to his early season ways and whether Castillo is worth trading for. With Severino going down last night now the Reds have the advantage in trade negotiations. I am hoping the Yankees put a 10 spot on Castillo tonight for 2 reasons one to lower his trade value and two to get back to winning convincingly.

Judging by the Reds off-season trades, if the Yankees want Castillo, all they have to do is offer a couple garbage prospects and the Reds will be all over it |

What’s funny is after their 2-20 start the Reds are not an easy team to beat as witnessed by the sweep of Tampa and giving the Yankees all that they can handle. With proper management they might be 2 or 3 players away from being a playoff team in today’s watered down format. |

Lol So one random game in July will tell you whether a pitcher who has been in the bigs for 6 seasons is worth trading for? I see some of you Yankee fans still live in Delusionalville where you're the only team in baseball and nothing else matters unless your team is involved. |

yeah, while I get it, the Reds combine having a pretty crappy farm system, with having a pretty shockingly old team. So I think they are at the front of their hard times. |
