I think Draymond deserves ~20 games at this point but Ja also deserved his suspension.

Let's not do the whataboutisms because Ja had plenty of chances to change his behavior and kept doubling down. Ja needed to be made an example of and Draymond needs the same now

I think that Ja deserved the punishment but here are the facts so far:

League has suspended Ja for 33 games. No one has been hurt.

League has suspended Draymond for 5 games. One player has been knocked down, one has been hit in the face, one has been choked, one has been walked over (literally), one has been kicked in the balls...and that's not even considering other "minor" incidents.

Draymond should have received a heavier penalty a while ago (like Ja did), why wait so long?

Is his punishment different if he does it to someone that matters like Lebron or Giannis and not Nurcic or Adams. Haven’t followed all the times Draymond acted like a #@#@#@#@#@#@ as there’s too many to remember.

We are talking about a guy who (arguably) lost his team a title in the NBA finals when he was suspended and that didn't change his behavior.

Right but that's what I'm saying. You can't compare the incidents because Ja was given a chance to change his behavior and he shoved it in Silvers face. Silver was going to make an example of him.

You could argue that Silver is going to now make an example out of Draymond now especially after the Rudy headlock. If a big suspension doesn't come down after this then questions need to be asked

Emotional? The guy literally assaults other players, and regularly - and stopping him having the chance to for (only) 15 games would be an emotional thing to do..? Yikes.
How many issues has he had this season alone? Ban him for the rest of the season - and warn him that if he does it again when he returns he'll be added to the NBA's blacklist of those banned forever. Nobody in regular society would have had remotely near the amount of chance he's had.

I literally think Nick Wright and I have the exact same take on everything with the exception for LeBron. Spot on today.

Who cares if Draymond receives a long suspension? The Warriors aren't even contending for anything this season. Draymond doesn't even seem interested in playing games -- he keeps getting ejected and suspended.

Honestly, I think he should retire. He doesn't seem to be having fun playing anymore, and he's already accomplished everything he's going to accomplish -- 4 rings, 1 DPOY, 4 AS etc.

He's an overachiever -- and I mean that in a good way. He's a winner in life and all he's doing now is making people dislike him even more.

10, maybe 12 games seems about right to me. I don't think there was a lot of intent there, but he's lost the benefit of the doubt. Reminds me of when LeBron bloodied up Isaiah Stewart's face last year or whenever that was.

I really think a lengthy suspension is more a reassurance to the players who aren’t reacting. They need to know they’re not just punching bags at this point. The fear is another short one is going to encourage that one player to risk it :(

Did he actually hit Lebron in the junk? It looked like he just took a swipe at them while Lebron was standing over him, but didn't actually make contact. I would think Lebron would have had a different reaction if he did.
