The Yankees announced that they picked up infielder CJ Alexander off waivers. He had been waived by the Athletics, and the Yankees announced he will be optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Alexander will now have the chance to compete for playing time at a key position for the Yankees.

Can he pitch a little.:D |
Nice 10-2 win tonight.

Interesting move coming with Stanton soon to be here. They could really only send Perazza down. Leaving no backup infielders.

Prob first time he tries to advance more than one base. |
Nice 6-3 win last night except for the 9th inning, wish Leiter jr could’ve had a better outing but at least Devin Williams retired the 2 batters he faced to get the save.
Which Will Warren will we see tonight, hoping for a decent outing. |
Imagine going to the Yankee game, for what might be the only game you see all year, and find out Judge is getting the night off.
I hate seeing a guy who's on a hot streak get sat down when they are healthy. |

Well they got the sweep. 1-0 the pitching was awesome tonight.

The good - we won, the bad - we saw what the offense is like without Judge. Please stay healthy Judge! |

It was without Judge, Jazz,Lemahieu and Wells. Not saying those guys are great by any means but they were all upgrades of the players that replaced them. I do believe it is easier to beat the Yankees without Judge as he makes the whole lineup better but on the day you knew you were going to rest him resting as many starters as they did they were lucky the pitching stepped up to steal a win. |
Rehak is soft

Thank you for Narvaez <3

Yea you probably got the better of that deal but he still isn’t enough to win the division. |
Looks like we're getting all or nothing from Judge. The strike outs are piling up, and avg is dropping, pretty quick. But we really couldn't expect him to keep up the pace he was on.
On a different note. What the hell is it with this team and Boston? Do they forget to bring their bats to the games or something? A win would be nice once in a while. |
There's number 2.
Number 8 in the series. |
Just giving this series to them

Sent from my SM-S928U using Tapatalk[/QUOTE] Dumb ass mistake by Rice. Where the hell was he going with 2 outs? |
Someon. The guy is batting .227. Put him the "F" away!
And he walks him. He's gonna pay for that one. Maybe this is why they keep losing to Boston. |
Threw a nice curve for strike 3 to prove me wrong.:)!
