I think to be swept tonight at home in the ALDS is not a successful season. At least get to a competitive game 5, the Blue Jays are tough for sure.
But getting no hit /mastered by a rookie in game 2 is a huge black eye right now. Sent from my SM-S928U using Tapatalk |
Ok, then in the scenario that the Yankees lose tonight, how many more years without a title will it take for you to want Cashman and Boone gone?
Keep in mind that we are 15 years removed from 2009 and 7 years into Boone's tenure. During that time, the Yankees have had stretches where they didn't have an ace, or any lefties in the lineup, or key positions like a 3B and LF.
Cashman more so than Boone but you are the poster child for other people saying our fan base is spoiled. They put a winning product on the field for 33 straight years with 5 titles and 3 World Series losses I think most other franchises would take that. |
Who are you and what have you done with spuds
Sent from my SM-S928U using Tapatalk
Just really got to thinking about it, look at all the other New York franchises in all of the sports none of them have won a title since the 2011,12 giants in football unless you count the Liberty of the WNBA last year. |
The good news is any of the teams still playing could still easily win 3 games in a row...or lose 3 in a row. Happened a bunch of times this year.

I like this thinking but I think they win tonight and lose tomorrow as I don’t see Schlittler replicating his last performance. |
Who is in the starting lineup for tonight?
Goldschmidt back on first? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I do think its time for the LDS to go to 7 games. Now with the wc being 3 game series, feels weird for LDS to be over so quickly.

Agreed I don’t think 5 games after the wildcard team uses a lot of pitchers in a 3 game series is fair. I know the division winners deserve an advantage but not that big of one. |
Can’t even get out of the first half inning without falling behind.
|
Carlos Rodon’t
|
Well got one back just wish Judge would stop channeling his inner Tony Gwynn.
|
Still haven’t mastered covering first base.Didn’t realize Rice was that slow.
|
It really is hard to have confidence.
|
If only Volpe could hit the ball as far as his bat went.
|
9 pitch inning for the 7,8,9 non hitters with 2 strikeouts.
|
Well double and intentional walk to Vladdy. Hate to say it in only the 3rd inning the game hangs in the balance right here.
|
Cody Pulls a Duran and Jazz falls asleep 3-1 and not looking good.
|
It’s over.
|
You think they threw the game to get Boonhead fired! I’d like to think so

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nope surefire way was to let the Red Sox sweep them and look this bad. Toronto just has their number and if they want him gone I wish the players would have the balls and say so. |
I don’t think the Red Sox would have done any better. The Blue Jays are just so hot right now
|
Is it weird I'm watching the Yankees/Bluejays and not the Mariners/Tigers game?
|
All just waiting to be turned into sawdust by the Dodgers.
