Andujar was hitting better than Florial in AAA and playing left field. He should be starting in place of Gallo.

Cole sucked it up again and now we've lost 3 in a row to two garbage teams. Maybe it's the negative effect of what Donaldson did or maybe it's the real team we all looked at on paper and complained about pre-season beginning to show its ugly head.

I'm convinced the analytics nerds have convinced Boone/Cash that Andujar is not good for the team or the lineup, because it just doesn't make sense to roll out some of the players they have moved ahead of him.

I know he's not a Gold Glover defensively, but I don't think he's going to hurt us as much as Gallo's .150 batting average and zero productive outs. Or Hicks' terrible BA with RISP.

Something needs to give. Yanks should do a phantom IL stint that allows him to rest and mentally reset. Get a 'rehab' assignment in where there is no pressure and he can focus on making adjustments. Either that or go all out for a CF at the trade deadline and reduce Hick's roll or cut him entirely. He can't be the go-to leadoff hitter when DJ is out. OBP be damned.

Bryan Reynolds is conveniently have a down year as well. Not as bad as Hicks though. If there was ever an opportunity to get him, now would be the time.

Daulton Varsho, on the other hand, is having a breakout year and the DBacks could possibly be interested in capitalizing on that. It would take a lot to get him since he has a lot of team control left.
