Didn’t 2018 Update sit on the shelves for months and months. People probably said the same thing but it was Ohtani instead of Robert. Then these kids named Juan and Ronald came along. I’m just saying it could happen with this product down the road with guys we have no idea about right now who are rookies in this product.

Crazy, isn't it? It's like the hype of retail Bowman and other releases created a by-product of ill-informed resellers who seem to think an inferior product has value as such. People paying the prices aren't helping either.

Anyway, I'd be a fool to spend 1.5x-2x markup on one, so instead I bought an 8-pack of hanger boxes where they come out to $10.xx a piece, but they have a release date for the 8th which I'm fine with. I'm going to rip them all primarily to finish the S2 set since my jumbo box had many duplicates (as noted in the thread) and the odds for parallels aren't terrible. I may end up eating the ~$90, but that's okay because I didn't give those boneheads any of my money.

Bought 2 hobby boxes direct from Topps website after getting shut out of Sapphire. Wasn't expecting much from them based on what I've seen/read here. Opened the first box - 3 golds, 3 foils - all junk. Zero numbered parallels other than the golds. Nothing in the silver pack.

But it turned out to be a good box

I walked in to a Target that had just been restocked.. 3 people were in the card section dividing the series 2 hangers. This is insane

I don't think mine has worked for a month or two. Just gonna have to hope to get lucky on a web site re-fresh and hope the botbois don't gobble up instantly. But, I have had some success in the wild lately and at least up to 34 boxes.

My local Walmart and two local Targets all have zero sports cards right now. Looks more like there just haven't been any stocking at all rather than being cleaned out by buyers.

I'm playing the waiting game for Walgreens hangers. Hopefully they start showing up in a couple of weeks. /fingerscrossed

I'll hit up the Walmart and Target in Englewood tomorrow and let ya know what I find.
