Fanatics is too big to fail. Some will die on that hill.

Yes, just like the 21BB

Forget about the jerseys, let's focus on the cards.

It's just about the beginning of March, and Fanatics is still releasing 2023 products.

And they have released sell sheets for only three 2024 products: Flagship (already released), Bowman, and Archives Signature Series

I assume Fanatics wants to spread out their releases year round. And they have no competition, so no need to worry about getting products to market quickly.

I suspect they recognize it’s not ideal. Especially if they want to grow, produce more products across more sports and entertainment categories. Question will be how quickly can they address root causes.

They already outsource printing of low-end products to a Mexico printer, which consistently results in quality issues. When they take over production of licensed NBA and NFL cards, it could be a disaster.

I’ve bought at least 2-3 jerseys a year for as long as I can remember. I just love jerseys since I got a Penny Hardaway jersey his rookie year when I was in 6th grade. Even I can’t buy this crap they are releasing this year. I’m shocked they approved these jerseys. I bought 3 fakes off DHgate for $58 last week. They can’t be worse than what’s for sale on Fanatics

i haven’t worn a jersey since my dad saw me wearing one and said, “you got another man’s name on your back”.

They were warned

imbluestreak23 02-24-2024 11:38 PM

Most Fanatics fans are either

1) on their knees doing the business or
2) bent over getting the business

Both repulsive

fabiani12333 02-24-2024 11:44 PM

The pertinent question is, do you want another man on your back?

Become a Yankees fan. No names. :coffee:

I own a few jerseys, can’t say I’ve worn one in about 15 years though. But find it funny that in a forum where all the grown men here talk about their baseball card collections, the ones who don’t wear jerseys feel some sort of moral superiority over those who do. You guys are ridiculous. Not only do we have hobby gate keepers, and trolls, but I guess we have to deal with the Fashion Police now?

Found the tough guys

Gatekeeping jerseys is so lame. You collect grown men on little pieces of cardboard and probably a lot of them are teenagers. You have no right to speak on wearing a jersey.

This right here. And I'm not a jersey guy.

Agreed.

I have mostly football jerseys and haven’t worn any in years but I’d never chide someone who would.

oldgoldy97 02-25-2024 08:43 AM

Unless I could see their moobs through the fabric.

You and your dad seem like a couple of real cool dudes. Please share some more of the invaluable wisdom you learned from The Fonz

I don't see the comparison. One item is worn in public and the other is stored away in boxes or cases.

I think it's weird to be a grown man who wears some other person's attire.

wiper 02-25-2024 08:28 PM

wear jerseys, idgaf. i don’t have to, the reason doesn’t matter. same way your reasons don’t.

“jersey gatekeepers” gtfoh [emoji23] wear what you want.
