Silver pack autos are terrible. The 35th anniversary auto set is so much better with on-card autos. Platinum > Super.

Will his Update or TCU be the one to own over his S2 and TC even though they’re RDs? Portraits seem to rule the industry, just something I’ve been wondering lately.

Rookie Debuts are hated by most. It would take years for any possible direction change with them. They are what they are. A substandard rookie.

Isn’t the Bryce Harper RD THE RC of his to have when it comes to flagship? I know a ton of factors exist and it wasn’t until recent until it blew up.

An RD that follows a regular issue Flagship will never be a highly desired card.

As it should be...I’m just still wondering if the anti-landscape collectors would drive the hype the other way. The majority seems to hate landscape RCs. I personally don’t dislike them. And I get why Topps does the RD, but I personally wish they’d get rid of them.

It seems for super rookie Tatis, the influencers here (as well as online completed sales) are willing to overlook the horizontal image as that is the lesser of two evils...the second being, to accept a Rookie Debut card with a decent vertical image, but released after a regular, pack pulled flagship card.

I have no problem with horizontal cards as long as the image fits. The image for Tatis gets the job done. Personally, I’ll never buy a Rookie Debut card of anyone. And for Tatis, if I want a vertical card, I’ll get some Complete Set variations.

Yes, I got the gold in the first pack I opened so I knew the rest of what I got was just money in the bank. The auto I pulled in the last pack. I think the box had an Alonso base rookie as well.

I pulled a Bowman Chrome Tatis Jr RC /50 the other day too. I've had a ton of luck with him, Alonso, and Guerrero Jr. this year. I've pulled each of their autos, two Guerrero Jrs.

Got this beast back from Josh's last express sub, these things are beautiful in person. Going to need to add an Acuna like this at one point. Very happy it got a 10.
