I like these retro subsets they've been doing. The neon green is an Australian exclusive (I think?) and so they're not all that easy to come by.

Thanks! Yes, the revolution set is definitely one of my favourites. First year as well, so I'm glad I have it.

[B]2020-21 Court Kings - Rookie Level 1[/B]
[I]Subset - 33/33 Cards[/I]

I think this now falls into the cheap and cheerful category (I presume high print run for these as they were part of various SKUs). They're quite good looking for the price IMO (Lamelo rookie is about $15 USD atm).

Decent rookie class too, Ball and Edwards should make multiple all-star teams, and there were a couple of suprises in Bane and Maxey (surprise to me anyway).

[B]2014-15 Select - Courtside Silver Prizm[/B]
[I]Subset - 65/100 Cards[/I]

First year that Select did the three-tiered base. The Courtside have generally been nice throughout the years, and this one is no exception. It has a little checkerboard effect and really pops in the right light. A lot of these are expensive now so I have low expectations in terms of ever finishing it (it includes Lebron, Curry and Kobe in USA basketball uni.

I'm happy with the ones I do have though, and I may look at adding a few more if they come up at the right price.

The silver prizm parallel is probably the one to get, but I had never collected any fast break and I think this is a good fit for it. They look great and they're a little cheaper than the silvers.

Pretty sure this parallel was from the blasters only? Not the hobby boxes in any case. Actually the insert itself may not be in hobby boxes now that I think about it. Must admit I'm tempted to do both the Blue and Green parallels of this also, they look quite good. Short checklist here so it's do-able, even if some of the names here are on the expensive side.

Thanks! I think it's just a reference to 2012 prizm (first year of Panini Prizm I believe). They made these cards look very much like those.

We've had plenty of variations on this theme over the years. I wish they'd highlight each particular country a bit further by putting the outline of that country on each card instead of a generic world map.

The quality of the 'rest of the world' team is pretty sensational.

Most of my sets are lower end, but I try to sneak in some larger base parallel sets here and there. Purple prizms look really nice (in general, not just here) and these die-cuts came out of the packs in good condition.

It's incomplete obviously, but the good news I did get my hands on Jokic (rookie), so I have that, D'lo, CP3 and Mudiay on the way.

Getting real close now. Only 3 cards to go, and contrary to how this usually goes, these 3 aren't the toughest to find or most expensive (bought Jokic 6 months ago at pretty much peak prices). Remaining three are Oubre Jr., Richardson and Montrezl (all rookies).

Very happy with this one. Larger parallel sets feel great.

I opened a box of this a few years back. I had no idea what it was. This isn't the nicest stuff from this product, in fact, it's probably as average as inserts got around this time. The colours are not terrible, and some of the photos are fine, but it's pretty bland overall.

Lol, pretty much. This was his first year with the Magic so no in-game photos of him yet. At this point he already had his first major injury I think. Hard to believe he lasted until 2012-13! Obviously he was never the same, but still, impressive he kept it going.

I'll keep saying Hoops is one of the most underrated products. This insert was another case where there was a holo effect but no "base" version available. They [B]really [/B]pop (most of my other photos are taken the same way and these just go bananas under the light).

Part of the foil is missing on the Jokic, I may have a look and see if I can get one without that problem or if it was something with the entire print run.
